Great comeback tonight :yess:, i thought the 2 horrible missed calls would end them tonight. Selig still a stupid ass for no replay? Yep............

What a night of baseball !!! The Yanks one step closer to meeting Cliff Lee in game seven...and the Phils are one step closer elimination.

If it happens it happens... It's been a great ride for Giants fans so far and we're going as far as the team will take us.... Imagine 2008 for Philly fans. It feels good in that way. No real expectations, just enjoying it all.

another Lincecum vs Halliday tonight....I was at game 1 and enjoyed watching Tim's unique pitching style....though go Phils!

I had to stream the Phillies vs Giants last night. I found the Spanish Speaking announcers to be hysterical. This whole CAblevision & FOX fiasco has gone on for long enough.

GIANTS are gonna close the Phillies out tonight. In Sepetmber the Phillies were just about everyones favorites to win the series, their confidence is at an all time low, and i would be suprised if they bounced back tonight.

it's not about who's hot at the end of September, it matters who gets hot at the right time.
EXAMPLE...see 2004 RED SOX

Exactly right Bezzerkerr. I doubt the Rockies would have beat the Sox in '04, but that long layoff after the Rox swept Arizona in the NLCS killed them before the WS whereas the Sox were rolling in from a 7 game series where they won the final 3 games and it ended up not being much of a series.

Sitting for 6 days may have hurt the Phillies. The Yankees also had a long layoff.

Phillies are definately back in it now with the final 2 games in Philly and their obnoxious fans. Will make the Giants breaking those overzealous fan's hearts more glorious though.

obnoxious wouldnt be the first word i would use to describe Philly fans :lol. So far, Cain has actually been SF's best pitcher, so if it goes to game 7, im not worried. Sanchez still has the ability to pitch much better than he did last time and Oswalt already gave them his best shot in game 2, and the Giants didnt look fooled in the one inning he pitched a couple nights ago, so seeing him 3 times rather recently will give SF a advantage imo.
