Giants still rolling :yess:. I can't say very many teams are better than SF at pulling off the 1 run win, but they also lose a lot of games losing by 1 run. :dunno

Pitching does that for you. Better start being concerned about Wilson though. Pitching in 5 straight games is not good for a reliever. If Boche burns him up you are in trouble.

Rockies offense is still in major funk. No one claims they have the best offense in the NL, but its starting to get ridiculous. Only 1 guy hitting over .300. Keep hoping they start hitting, but it may not happen.

true, but I'm confident Boche will know when to pull him and rest him for certain games. They have other guys that are more than capable of closing out a few games if need be, but Wilson has been rolling. I still think they need another bat, they have a good amount of old guys on this team, and they only have 1 speed guy on the team, but he's not much of a hitter. I heard Reyes is on the market, they could use a guy like him considering Tejada has really struggled on offense.

Oh, for sure! lol. Hope he gets better quickly. I want him back in the dugout. Shingles is no joke.

Nice win today. Cubs suck. Now and forever.
:rotfl

I do to. Pettini's ok and all, but he's no TLR.

Yeah, shingles is not fun (speaking from experience). Still have issues to this day.

Poor Cubbies. I really do feel sorry for the fans (including my family). They've just made all the wrong moves year after year. This ownership team seems willing to change that, but we'll see.

Yeah, I've heard that pain and symptoms from it can be experienced from one month to even a year.

And like most things, stress can bring it about again.

Stress = suck.

Cubs' fans = lots of stress.

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl That is hilarious!

Yeah, and I think they're still trying to figure out exactly what it does to people. I get shooting pains in my head every so often and it's been about 7 years now. The worst part was it weakened the heck out of my immune system. I catch more crap than Soriano catches fly balls.

Thank goodness Broxton has since been put on the DL.
Vicente Padilla has been doing better in his place.

Now that's what it's all about. Good to see these guys can still have fun.
Thanks for the link.

I think Padilla was the right choice. Is there anyone in the minors they can bring up?

No prob. That's what I love about baseball, too. :)

This just in: Ryan Franklin still sucks *** and has raised his amazing ERA to 9.88.

He's about as useless as fake ***s on a zombie.

Seriously, wth happened to him? How can you go from being in the top 10 Rolaids Relief year over year to a potential waiver wire candidate?

I really thought Sanchez could fill in and be the closer, but sounds like they've run outta patience with him and his walk to k ratio. :lol

It only took a month and half, but the Red Sox are finally .500.:yess:

Onward and upward from here.:clap

Who is last years and current best DH in MLB?.

Thats right..

Super weird game last night between the Marlins and Mets. Lasted 11 innings and the Marlin's relief pitcher is left in the game to bat and gets the winning RBI.
