The Sox finally got a decent game out of Lackey. Of course the offense continues to do their best disappearing act.

Its horrible. Someone died at the Rockies ball park as well earlier. Plus of course the attack in LA. Rough year for MLB in that respect.

Yankee Captain Derek Jeter just got his 2,999th hit (a lead off single in the bottom of the 1st inning vs TB Rays) and is one away from making Yankee history!

It's pretty amazing that no other Yankee has accumulated 3,000 hits in franchise history when you think about the All Time greats that have worn the pin stripes.

Go Jetah! :clap :rock :bunnydanc

It's also pretty amazing that now he's going to be moved to the bottom of the order because he sucks now.....Cashman should be fired for giving Jeter that much money....

Hamilton was really shaken up by it too....I don't blame him and I hope nobody ever does....It clearly wasn't his fault. I blame 1. The fan. 2. Texas Rangers 3. MLB

not even close.....Jeter totally pulled a power move and I hope Girardi shows him and Posada who's boss. If Jeter doesn't get moved down to the bottom of the lineup and continues to stink it up like he has all year then Joe will get killed in the media if they don't win a WS....

Could it be it's because they don't keep players long enough?

It was NO ONE's fault. It was just an accident, pure and simple.

He helps fills seats. He'll go elsewhere as soon as he gets married and the women lose interest.
