Congrats Cardinals.Wohooooooooo!!!!!!!!:fireworks
Dont get me wrong.....its obvious where im from but god im glad the rangers lost.

Congrats Cards. One word morale of the story for the Rangers, pitching. If the Giants can win it all with their lousy offense (against Rangers pitching of course :lol), then anyone can, Rangers need to do whatever they can to improve the pitching all around next year.

Congrats to the Cards and their fans, but man, being a Rangers fan must be killer right now, 1 strike away

Very true. :(

Don't forget the Eagles, too. :clap

Yeah, they've had a tough run too (2 Super Bowl losses and 4 NFC Championship Game losses).

Anyway, onto the baseball GM winter meetings now.

Also, I think after the World Series, teams have an 8-10 day period to sign their pending free agents? (I may be wrong on that) :dunno

It'll be interesting to see what becomes of the Pujols situation.

Congratulations Cards fans, especially NosferatuBill36 and The Josh! #11in11! :hi5:

One of the best World Series match-ups I've seen in awhile, and two of the greatest playoff games I've ever seen in person. Still in a fog from the lack of sleep, but it was well worth it. :)

Congratulations and heart-felt sympathy to the Ranger fans. :1-1: No reason to hang your heads, as a couple of breaks here or there and it would have been a very different outcome. Very classy fans from what seems like a very classy organization.

One last comment....I wish my little girl MacKayla could have been here to see this, but knows she was wearing her Cards jersey and rooting from above.

A couple of pics -

^^^ Ozzie!

He is what made me a Cards fan all the way back in 1985. Then I started getting attached to other great Cardinals like Ray Lankford, Will Clark, Lee Smith, Brian Jordan, etc.

Still proud of what my favorite team accomplished this year.

Ozzie was the man in the 80's. An amazing and humble person. Always sooo personable with the fans.

Did you wear your #1 jersey during the Series?
Also, not sure if you saw this, but M&N is having a 40% off all wool jerseys sale - Mitchell and Ness

They took all of us fans to the edge on multiple occasions!!! I'm fairly certain I lost 5 years of my life in the past 2 months. :lol

Great shots Gibby. :rock

Thanks, Josh! :)

Josh and Bill - I have a couple of extra World Series stadium papers if each you want one.
Just PM me your address and I'll send it your way.

Nope. I wore my McGwire jersey a few times, my Pujols jersey, and my fake Stan Musial jersey during the series.

The throwback blue doesn't really match my...tannish skin tone, lol. But I will wear it eventually.

:yess:
