yah im just wondering a team like the Nationals who are putrid bad have these players who rake in high values on their items, like Straussberg, didnt his first game balls go for thousands then he got injured and was mediocre player rest of his career? now this harper person why is he that good?

In order to be inducted, candidates must receive votes on 75 percent of the ballots cast by the 16-member Golden Era Committee.

Chances are no one will get elected, but if I had a vote I'd give it to Hodges, Santo, and Tiant.

bryce harper is a supposed phenom and the next greatest ever...we have been reading about him since about 9th grade and everyone is excited to either see him succeed or see him fail...he has a bit of an offputting attitude that might get him in some trouble on the field

the reason they get these players is because they suck and end up with the #1 pick. strasburg is still young and has plenty of time to bounce back from his injury...calling it a mediocre career doesn't make much sense since he has only been around for 2 seasons(1 missed due to injury)

Straussberg is someone I will be making a specific trip to see if he starts a game here in Denver against the Rockies.

Washington Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos kidnapped in Venezuela.

This is really sad to see. The reason the Twins traded Ramos for Matt Capps was that we had just signed Joe Mauer to a 8-year $184 million dollar contract and we needed a closer after Joe Nathan had Tommy John surgery.
