A's swept Minnesota in the '06 divisional series. Afterward the A's were swept by Detroit in the AL Championship Series.

Anyway...

Only 5 years champ, not 9.

Also, that non-playoff streak ends this season.

The series opener against Tampa Bay lasted 5:09, the longest game at the Coliseum since July 3, 1983, when a contest against Texas went 5:19.
The A's are the first team with walk-offs in nine of 17 home games since the 1974 Los Angeles Dodgers.

Either way this division (minus the Mariners) will be a fight to the finish.
