Valentine just oversaw a 9-20 August. The sooner they bring him to the gallows the better. As for who manages this team next year, I have no clue. Just a terrible mess.

Baltimore has whittled down the once 10-game lead of the Yankees to just a game. 
Plus we have the extra wild card team starting this year.
The races are really heating up with just a month left in the season.

It's only for this year as they didn't put enough off days in the post season to account for the extra flight....which is pretty lame because teams play 10,12+ days in a row all the time during the regular season. Sometimes as much as 20 or 22 days even.
Not sure why they feel teams need to have them in the postseason.

Yeah, that's just crazy, but that's baseball for you... it's always possible to fight your way back to the top. And that exra wild card slot is really making me look forward to playoffs.
