You better acquire some starting pitchers next year to bring some hope to the fans or watch your attendance drop even more. Doubt that will happen since payroll will go down.

Agreed and I'm a Cardinals' fan. I cannot bear to see another MLB postseason marred by bush league calls like this but that's where we are, yet again. Bud Selig is the WORST commissioner in history and his tenure has been nothing but a joke beginning with the strike in 1995, steroids, and his complete dismissal of replay to help umpires make the right call, not just on home runs, but on all calls! MLB is a joke and you don't have to look far but to the NFL and just how bad it can get with bull**** officiating. MLB might as well call up replacement umps for the remainder of the postseason because their regular crews are beyond help. I can't wait to see what comes next, and the Cardinals are probably going to be the ones on the short end of things this time due to some bull**** make up call by the umps in the division series against the Nats.

Agreed. I know many of us have favored instant replays for years. Yes, it takes more time and will make an already long game even longer, but it will keep the integrity of the sport true.

Agreed, a piss poor call. But in fairness, the Braves defense also let them down in this game.

I'd hate to be that umpire right now though.

Yes it was a **** call... But what would replay do in that situation? The umps just f'd it up. Using it as a point against Selig Is bs.
