Congrats Zobrist

How many think the Baseball gods caused the rain to fall to give the Cubs the momentum back to win it! :lol

OMG. I'm a little grossed out. Tons of Cub fans walking around Oklahoma today. Most of these fools didn't even watch them on WGN or anything. #bandwagon

Some commenters said the rain was legendary Cubs announcer Harry Carey crying. :)

What a game! It is unfortunate that somebody has to lose.
Congrats to the Cubs.

This. Even for the casual viewer like me, that was some great drama. Both teams really did give it their all...plenty of heroes, and no goats.

I'm shocked Joe Maddon hasn't taken credit for the rain yet. The Cubs lineup saved Joe from being Grady Little 2.0. I thought leaving Chapman in the 9th was asking for a walk-off.

Congrats to any Cub fans here, enjoy every bit of this because you don't know when it'll happen again.:)

The Reds haven't done it since 1990 :lol

I wonder how many people will actually go to work during the parade tomorrow in Chicago :lol

The bars around Wrigley should be ecstatic tomorrow. They'll clean up

The Red Sox picked up their option on Clay Buchholz and are named 2017 AL favorites in Vegas. Coincidence? Yeah, probably.:lol

Ya they do, in 2124..

I wonder if anyone in Chicago will camp out near Wrigley tonight to be ready early for the parade tomorrow :wink1:

As a lifelong brewers fan, i hated to see the cubs win it. Mainly because I have not had very many good experiences with their fans when they come up to MP. Plus, being from Milwaukee, there has always been a "hatred" for Chicago. I'm just glad we can stop hearing about the curse and them being the lovable losers.

Either way, no matter who you were rooting for, that was a great game 7 for ANY baseball fan. That rain delay killed Cleveland. The cubs were reeling and on their heels when they called the stoppage. Had they played thru the very little rain there was (it definitely rained harder before they put the tarp down) I believe Cleveland would have won it.
