WOW...after that terrible collapse Saturday I really didn't think the Rangers would have it in them on Sunday. Thank God for Cole!

Found this on CBS Sports:

Speaking of the World Series, here, as of Sunday morning, Oct. 4, are the odds of winning the World Series that the the SportsLine Projection Model gave to each of the 10 playoff teams ...
•Royals: 22.2 percent
•Cardinals: 16.7 percent
•Blue Jays, Dodgers: 14.3 percent
•Mets: 11.1 percent
•Yankees: 10.0 percent
•Astros, Pirates: 7.7 percent
•Cubs: 6.7 percent
•Rangers: 3.2 percent

And there you have it. Soon enough, we shall light this candle.

****, of course A-Rod is swinging first pitch..... :gah:

Keeping Gardner in the game after the 2nd K is a mistake, bring in Ellsbury already.

Pretty awful all around for the Yanks. No fight whatsoever. Bad decisions by Girardi. Revamp infield and starting pitchers this free agency.

Yanks need to go all in on David Price.

Don't really care about the Astros, congrats for them though. Don't see them beating the Royals.

I wonder what kind of odds I could've gotten betting on the Astros in April. After the last couple of years ... we were hoping for .500. They were supposed to be really good come 2017 or so. Nobody expected them to come on this early.

I wish I still got the same enjoyment out of Yankee Elimination Day as I used to. I think the Yanks can see the playoffs again next year with a new front line starter (Price?) and a power RH bat, but that might be much harder to find.

As for tonight, let's go Bucs!!!!

Pirates fans went through worse back in the early 90s but the past two wild card games have got to hurt.

Congrats to the Cubbies - do they have a chance to make BTTF2 right?

Well, if they get through the Cards I'd say anything is possible but that's going to be a tough series for the Cubs.
