hi, and thanks again for the compliments! i decidet that the steel teet alien will be another artist edition. so there will be total 12 bronze statues. here are the last 2 pieces. nuber 9, another crouching alien, a little bit similar in position with the ss alien warrior. but much more relaxed:)

and this is the final, number 10. im still not shure, what to think about it. what do you mean? i tried to represent the alien coming from the landing feet in the brett scene, but wantet it to be able to stand too. it will get a base looking like the landing feet, so that it could be able to hang on a massive wall. the position is nearly the same like in the film, but maybe looks a little bit rediculus!? dont know. when it s standing it could represent the alien rising up in front of lambert i thought. :dunno

Yeah, that last one does look a bit odd when it's standing... however, the second pic makes it look pretty cool, I can see it just hovering there before landing in front of Brett. Very cool!

I want THAT version :rotfl

These are fantastic statues -- you are able to capture the little nuances of the creature the little flicks in the gloves, the outward turned wrists, the little angles in the turn of the hips and the way the feet trun ever so slightly outward!!

These are great ---
however if you could use actual tubing for the tube parts, instead of trying to sculpt it in, itd look even cleaner-- (also I think and make your job a tad easier) -- not to mention, you'd really show the toymakers out there how to sculpt a real alien!!
...I kinda wish the xplus statue also used tubing instead of sculpting it, but I like your sculpts nonetheless...

thank you very much!:1-1:
with the tubing its a little bit difficult. of course it would look much more accurate, but in a way i like the sculptet tubes, cause ist is a sculpture:rotfl. and for the original sculpt i was not able to use it, couse it cause i was not shure, if i would make a silicone form of it, so it had to be completly out of wax to be able to be cast in bronze. also i have to resculpt the tubes on each figure, cause its difficult to fill the form up with wax accuratly. would need a vacuum chamber. well, maybe i would use tubing if i would ever sculpt a completly new one. dont know if.
by the way i ve chanched the number 10 to another chouching one similar to nr 9. but havnt made pictures before forming in. cast will be next week.
:yess:

hallo again!
today casting was done and here are some quick pictures of the first result: the second artist exemplar with the steelteeth, silver patina and an massive aluminium base.
