Re: The Man of Steel

Another movie on my must see list. I don't go to the movies all that often but who doesn't love Superman? Crazy people!

Re: The Man of Steel

Stage 16 on the WB lot has to be the biggest soundstage in the world (I think it is. Anyone know?)

Yeah, that's my ugly mug. :monkey1

You may be right. I bet they already have one in Dubai that is about 5x as big. :lol

Re: The Man of Steel

Yeah, I do freelance PR writing. I did gigs for Lucasfilm back in the day, but now pretty much spend my freelance time covering stuff and writing stuff (like presskits, etc) for Cruel & Unusual Films (Zack Snyder's production company). That said, I still consider myself extremely lucky. Though it can be "work" at times, it's still very fun and interesting work, especially for a lifelong geek like myself.

That's really cool. Was it hard to get into the field?

Just wondering because that's what I'm going to school for (the filmmaking part). Sounds like a dream job man. :clap

I went to film school as well. Many, many moons ago, of course. :lol

Actually, the best advice I can give (other than working on any skills) is just to network, network, and network some more. The more people you meet and contacts you make, the better. That's how things are done.

Nice man purse.
It's a satchel...

Indiana Jones wears one. :lol
Indeed. This is a replica of the same one, in fact. ;)

But he also has a whip.

Irish = no whip

I was afraid to take a whip with me because I knew I'd be traveling through West Hollywood. :monkey1
