Re: The Man of Steel

From what I read at my local Walmart, tickets go on sale at 8 a.m. No price given, and quantities are always limited.

FYI...

Now that the Walmart thing is done, advanced tickets everywhere will go on sale this Tuesday May 21 (online and at participating theatres) at 12:00 noon ET, 9:00 am PT.

Re: The Man of Steel

I got to meet Brandon Routh in Dallas yesterday. Real nice guy.

Me: "I was really disappointed when I found out you weren't gonna do MAN OF STEEL."

Brandon Routh: (the sadness of the world in his eyes.) "Me too... Me too."

Re: The Man of Steel

Tough.
I would have not brought that up if ive met him :/

Saw some pages of the walmart prequel comic...
Looks like there is a very interesting twist about the fortress of solitude, what is it actually and who can be in it... Setting up stuff for the sequels ^^

Re: The Man of Steel

Movie is released the next day and theres also regular advance screening...
They re trying too hard to force the hype.

Last nite i was at a dinner we talked movies, and some people who usually have little to no interest about Superhero movies asked me about man of steel. The poster with him in handcuffs used here for the promo got them wondering :)

We met him last Spring and he was indeed a really polite and modest young man. He very happily chatted with fans as he signed autographs, and despite there being a 'no posed photos at the desk' policy, he was doing so anyway.

Whilst I did not tell him that it was a shame that he did not do MOS, I did tell him that we felt that is was a pity that he did not get a chance to play SUPERMAN again because what he'd actually done had been very good. He agreed with me that he had not really been given enough 'super' things to do, but that he was glad that he'd done it.

My wife just drooled.

A lot.

Mostly on him.

I would love to meet Routh, wish he would have gotten a shot in a better Superman film. I loved his look, especially as Clark.

Re: The Man of Steel

I honestly would not have brought up that Man of Steel thing with Routh. Yikes. Poor fellow.

What man of steel thing with Routh?? Am I missing something?? I was only asking because Routh is in superman returns, not man of steel. I have never seen a superman returns thread, and if there isn't one then that's a shame.
