Re: The Man of Steel

Everything's bigger in Texas. You should see the snails that were on the news in Houston a few weeks back ...

Heh.

If your snake breaks a leg ... just get a dragonfly.

SnakeDoc

That's no snail, it's a space station.

Jye, my will is already crumbling and we're not in a GL thread.
Stop it...
:lol

:rotfl

Re: The Man of Steel

Ok...I completely crumbled...AND...was blown away.
Perfect...this is going to be one hell of a superman movie.
The score...I mean...such power in it.
Can´t wait to get it next week...

Re: The Man of Steel

Heh. No. I'm an attorney, so my doctorate is not snake-related.

"Snakedoctor" is actually another name for a dragonfly in the South. Based on some old legend that dragonflies followed around snakes and stitched them back together when they got injured. (Snake Doctor 1 ...)

That dragonfly looks like he is fixing to be lunch, not that snake's spirit healer or whatever. :rotfl

Re: The Man of Steel

Yeah, yeah...laugh at me...I´m so puny...whatever...
:lol

It's ok, I also couldn't resist. :lol

Nokia also had the honors of releasing the last TDKR trailer if i'm not mistaken.

Anyways, I don't feel like I ruined anything, very little in the way of new stuff, more like extensions of what we've seen already.

Remember when were were starving for footage. :lol

Anyways, looking great, awesome music.

At the end of the day, a great movie should hold up to scenes already seen or spoiled in the trailer.

Please, please let this be my go to Superman movie, I love CR S1/2 but it's time for Superman to shine again, it's time for Superman to have a great serious movie and action that can be accomplished with modern CGI, once and for all.

Superman Returns failed miserably, plainly evident after seeing these MOS trailers.

Brian Singer, time for you to witness Superman in action as the way it was meant to be.

Hopefully Singer won't screw up X-Full of Men and 2 Girls.

Translation:
It's time for Superman to get the Nolan treatment

I loved him after 300. :yess:

Yeah, but 300 is small potatoes next to MAN OF STEEL.

It may not make nearly as much money, but this film is bigger than even AVENGERS in scope and scale. It's bigger than pretty much any superhero movie in that regard. Plus, it's Superman.

Re: The Man of Steel

I feel oddly torn about the notion that many more geeks are going to suddenly start loving Zack Snyder.

:lol

i have liked Snyder since 300. Watchmen is a really well shot film. And my gripes are truly minor, and in no way hurt my enjoyment of the film. I'm one of the few people I know who liked Sucker Punch. Again Snyder's directorial work was great, the story could have used a more seasoned hand. But I still like it.

MoS looks great. Snyder was just the man to call to direct an action oriented Superman film. I hope the script doesn't let him down. I can't wait to see it.

Now that's a bold statement.

If this movie delivers in the fun department more so than the mighty A, i'm buying you the bluray when it comes out.

Just the single disk non 3D version. :lol

Joking, it will be the 3D one. :lol
