Way to compare one of the worst pictures of the statue to one of the coolest promo pics.

I wanted a movie representation of Supe and Bats and these two wont break the bank!

That's what people seem to be forgetting, this is only $100! That's very cheap compared to todays average 1/6 figure prices.

Saw this in person at my local Comic Shop, Body looks awesome, so does the base. Its beautiful, the only thing is the cape. Why cant anyone get the capes right!?

I was comparing the proportions, BUT there is no need. I will say that the likenesses of Zod, Ursa, and JorEl are pretty bang on of you are interested.

I probably was a little too touchy there, sorry, I just didn't want it to spiral into another "Batman Eyes Vortex" This piece just doesn't warrant that level of passion and fervor, it's just a cheap, cool piece.

But in the end this is a discussion forum and we all have the right to discuss our different points of view. You have said that many times before Spidey and guess what? You're RIGHT!

The sculpt looks good, a little tan but not as plastic wax looking as some pictures suggest, actually a very nice piece.

Ah... Discussions... How I love them... However, after experiencing the annoyance of the same people constantly hacking on a piece I am excited about, I have come to realize that ones opinion does not always need to be shared over and over... Especially if it is detracting from the enjoyment of others. Snoopy asked me a question and I answered it... Nuff said.... And in the end I really do hope guys get enjoyment out of this one. I will wait to see what SSC does with it, but this is a good cheaper alernative that won't suck all the money out of your wallet .... Oh oh and you asked so nicely

I saw this in person today, was giving it the benefit of the doubt until I did...

I think it looks cheap and looks like crap. I'll def be waiting for Hot Toys. Hopefully Sideshow does a good job if they do a statue.

The face just completely ruins it for me. The sculpt isn't bad per say, it's just very cheap looking and muted almost.

The body and outfit they did nicely though, also the stand. But the headsculpt for me is the real deal breaker.

It's a shame really. I bet with a repaint this would be one of the best Cavill Head sculpts we end up getting.

Can't compare... HT will be 3X the cost of this, it certainly better blow this away.

The fact is for $99 bucks, it's a very nice representation of (movie) Supes, maybe not for your statue room but perfect for your desk (that's where mine's going)

OK I got them both today! And I'll be the first to admit... you guys were right about the poor paint job on Superman, especially the face.

But I still really like these guys, they look great together! And I can see Cavill's likeness there, just needs better paint.

And at this price, I am going to attempt a repaint of superman and not be to overly neurotic about botching it up!
