hmm... this is lame. i understand the no guns policy, but considering the employees are going all over the place that are outside of the office i would carry a gun as well. my brother did deliveries for a couple months and he was making all kinds of money on tips. he'd go into work at 5 and be home before 11. he wasn't working the entire time, and he was cruising around when he was. he told me on the weekends he could easily pull $200 a night.

Legislators are more interested in protecting criminals and projecting the illusion that they give a damn about the poor, than they are in actually doing their jobs (which in this context would be to draft a legal structure that made it possible for people to protect themselves while not opening employers to litigation if an employee shoots anyone trying to kill them).

Lawmakers in the U.S. are power lusting hacks. It's as simple as that.

I delivered pizzas for a year when I was in college (ashamed). During this time, a friend of mine whom I worked with was held up in a similar fashion.. He was made to get down on his hands and knees w/ a gun pressed against the back of his head while he was robbed of his money and pizza..

He phoned for a pizza and was sat waiting to ambush the pizza guy.
Basically the guy is gonna arrive with a pizza and maybe a little cash , I'm sure there would of been a faster and more efficient way of getting some cash , what an idiot.

And yeah , the guy shouldn't of been fired. The only exception I would of made would of been shooting the thief in the face.
