The reason I prefer a pose where his lightsaber is on his belt is that Darth Vader is so much more than a saber-fighter.

He is an imposing, intimidating and threatening character. Just by his mere presene and stature, this is evident. This further establishes his connection with the force. His saber is more of a last resort. No anything that should be necessary for him to use.

That's why I prefer him "unarmed". Much like the Attakus Vader 1 shown above.

I think it's 17" inches tall. Though, most people claim it to be 1/5 scale. I doubt that.

Possibly. Maybe they cancel the project if Episode VII starts with Luke having never been married and Mara Jade is retconned out of "canonical" EU. Note that we haven't seen any "Splinter of the Mind's Eye" figures.

If they're going to make her they should really get her out in the next year or so. Doesn't look like that will happen.

you are right.. but its already known that EU wont impact the new movies.. something completely new will be written... what might mean, there is just no Mara Jade in Lukes life in Star Wars .. means.. no Mara Jade Statue neither...

Kneeling Vader from GG FTW!!

Kneeling Vader is also very iconic. GG did a great job. I just wish it was a bigger scale. The light-up function is epic too. And it fits perfectly with this artwork by Vanderstelt.

I. Don't like this pose at all, looks way to boring to me. The current one is much better, at least he's using his classic saber pose. This one is too stiff looking and looks way too close to the first one. But if they make a action pose like the GG one. Then oh yeah I will like it!

why do some of you think they will canon her out of star wars just bc of the new movies?
she is probably one of the biggest EU charactors beside Revan, Malgus, and probably Thrawn. even if she doesnt have a presence in the new trilogy im sure she will be refernced.
no reason to delete a major charactor.
with that said way off topic, but if they do anything to canon or something along the lines off that nature it would be keeping chewbacca from dieng on sernpidal. and who knows when the timeline for the new trilogy is gona be set in. mara and luke didnt marry until 19 ABY before that she tried to kill him.

These are all good points. I would like to see a Thrawn Trilogy but I think they may focus on the children. You right this all just speculation though.
