$227? That's quite a jump from other recent releases.

It is compared to the Gorshin Riddler, which was a good value set.

The '89 Alfred is $177:

I compared the specs and they were comparable apart from the table, bust and telephone with '66 Alfred (plus a shirt and some extra accessories). So it's those items that account for the $50 (including any extra shipping costs they entail).

Personally I could do without electronic features since I never use them. I used to put the batteries in with Hot Toys figures just to check that the function worked, but don't even bother to do that any more.

Kit trying to sort out the mess Mars left him with...

I know Mars wanted to show willing and release the figure as soon as possible, but they could've avoided a lot of stress if they'd done this as a pre-order and held off production until after the Chinese New Year.

There may have been other considerations, but they ended up timing it for the busiest time of the year. Kit should be on holiday right now.
I completely agree. Mars really should have COLLABORATED better with @Kit Chen to come up with a better release plan. I feel like Mars just dumped this in Kit's lap at the busiest time of the year for him - really not fair. Kit deserves a break from work just like all of us during our holidays. OSK will always be my only go-to shop for figures I can't get state-side. I missed the order today, but I have no worries. I will try again tomorrow and I trust Kit when he says no one will miss out on this figure. There are so many with an entitled "I WANT IT NOW" attitude in this community and life in general. I just don't get it. There is no figure I have ever missed and didn't eventually get without having to sell my soul to the devil or my organs on the black market. Let's try to extend a little grace and patience to someone working when he should be on a break from all of us.

Yea I did not realize Mars expect the shipment to be immediately shipped after payments are made. I was under the impression all figures won’t ship for at least 2-5 days

I think I prefer preordering and waiting 2 years to this…

I hope Kit isn’t catching too much crap. Feels like he’s trying to get them out as quickly as he can. He could have easily waited until after the new year
