is that how his cummerbund is really tied?

Yes, Mars tied it with the thread.

Everyone's favourite Youtuber uploaded his Riddler review today so I grabbed this shot of the back of the figure:

And does anyone have an idea what that red thin wire/rod is for? Located above the cane in the bottom tray.

According to Justin's Collection review it's "a laser beam attachment...it's a convincing laser beam effect". :lol

When he was showing the boxing shorts he said, "...there's an Everlast logo up front, the trunks in the show also had that Everlast logo." :monkey1

It's still the biggest head scratcher for me why Mars chose not to dodge the copyright issue the way they did in the episode.

How do you keep them all

How do you keep them standing without bases?
I can't stand bases, they take away from the beauty of the figures. I honestly don't do anything special, I just keep them steady and it seems to help to turn one or both feet a bit outward instead of straight ahead, seems to help them balance.

I haven't done it with any of my HT figures but I just setup a Rebels Black Series display and used Tack-it on the bottoms of their feet and so far they've held in place well.

That's the 2nd to last episode, right?

After the movie, that cross tie style must have become the standard, because in the early episode it looks like this in the back...

Different shade of purple/lavender too.
Absolutely.

It was season 3 episode 25. The stitched back of the belt as well as the colors (that Mars used) were also used in Ring Around the Riddler (which was also season 3).
John Astin also had the stitched back of the belt in season 2.

Mars never made Batman’s boxing gloves + shorts, did they? Not looking like they’ll make his surfboard to go with Joker’s either… if Joker’s even happens.

It’s a shame they didn’t make their own Batman and Robin from the ground up instead of just copying the Hot Toys figures. They could’ve done some fun new things with them.

Finally got my Batman poster from eBay. Shelf spacing is tighter than I thought it would be but I should be able to do a riser for the Dynamic Due and have the four rogues surrounding them whenever Penguin and Catwoman join the fray... I'll also get around to printing decals for the name plate and top of the stand for Batman and Robin...someday :)
