SHe said something like "you look ridiculous" and his response was "it's your scarf".

I have high hopes for this show. I've loved all of their individual shows, except IF, and having them all come together will be great. Really hoping they all take turns poking fun of Danny for being lame :lol

The actor who plays IF is still cringeworthy bad. I hope he doesn't take up too much time of the show.

Excited for everything else.

I have to admit, I liked him a lot better in the small doses we got on Game of Thrones. Guy was OK, but not an ideal leading man. I didn't even watch the last few episodes of Iron Fist yet, and I was a, er, defender of that show for doing what they did :lol But my interest waned pretty heavily as they were clearly starting to pad episodes out to make the full season.

Really looking forward to this show. Nice to see Danny getting flattened by Luke. Kinda want to see JJ do the same seeing as he doesn't describe her in the most flattering way. Jessica usually deals with Jeri for legal stuff, so will be interesting to see how Matt gets involved there.

Luke bein' a mentor figure to Danny is the thing I look forward to most.
I do like Danny's childish personality so it's gonna be interesting.

Yeah, I have no problem with Danny Rand's character, or Finn Jones' acting.

He's the youngest of the four defenders, and was in Kun Lun for 15 years(?). He didn't have the opportunity to grow up like the "normal" kids did.

I don't mind him being naive in that way, but he's got mannerisms that get really tiresome really fast. Doesn't come across as a believable human being much of the time :lol

If that plays out well, I would start liking Danny's character a lot more

All the explanation about Danny's mannerism makes no sense. If he was at an ancient monastery learning martial arts for 15 years, he would be the most poised out of the four. They would teach discipline like how Bruce Wayne is too.
That's why I don't understand the writers, they are **** for making him a whiney brat in Ironfist.

Agreed! Plus he's 25 not 15, he's a grown man not a kid.

Luke Cage star Mike Colter opened up to TV Guide (via Screen Rant) about the villains in the upcoming superhero series on Netflix. And he revealed that the Defenders are tied together from a single villainous someone or something.

“The villains that we’re dealing with are a combination of several entities, and they all have something to do with our separate stories that have played out in each of our own individual series," Colter said. "So this has been going on for a while.

"It wasn’t obvious in each individual series, but in this series, you’ll find out that the things that happened to all of us basically were all because of one entity. And that’s what’s gonna kind of tie things together."

Now that entity might refer to Sigourney Weaver's Alexandra or a group she's linked to in The Defenders. She's a new addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Netflix, meaning she might serve as the main villain for the series.

Don't forget that there's also the Hand and Elektra to deal with, as both popped up in the trailer for The Defenders. Plus, there's bound to be other team-ups and showdowns in the Marvel series as well.
