Boardwalk Empire is one of those shows I'd like to watch but feel like I start at the beginning. It continues to sit on my to do list. I need to watch Breaking Bad first.

Interesting casting. They'll get him a personal trainer and a wig. The important thing is they went for acting chops.

Hall is a talented actor but he likes to worm into the executive producer role. He's partly responsible for the slip in Dexter's storytelling. Glad they went elsewhere.

Millions saw Daredevil, the comic sells what? probably 30 to 60k issues a month? I doubt they are hoping for a comic only crowd, they probably figure if they can sell Affleck as Daredevil, they can sell this guy.

Wow, I definitely wasn't expecting that response. It was just a joke, hence the laughing smiley. No offence was intended. Unless you're an active participant in the production of this show, I maybe wouldn't take it quite so seriously.

It's all good.

I'm sure the guy will do fine in the role, he's definitely got acting chops. If the material and performance are there, people will quickly forget that he's not a physical match to the comics.

Yeah, I think story and a good actor will carry them further than someone with reddish hair and abs that couldn't carry the role. Not familiar with the guy, but definitely liking the feedback people that know him have.

I remember when he first came into Boardwalk as a quiet driver looking to get noticed. He stepped up in one episode when he headbutted someone for messing with him. That, and he was banging Nucky's wife. Nooch.
