Sensational episode all around! The Battlestar moment was well done and the impact of the moment it caused even more so. Loved the cell phone videoing by the crowd at the end...such an accurate representation of today's society! Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Being a soldier and also being expected not to kill anybody is ridiculous. Super serum ginger girl is a murderer and terrorist as are her super goons and Sam is stupid. That said, Walker chose....poorly. Don’t like Russell’s under bite face.

Killing during combat is one thing, but straight up bludgeoning a guy to death in a rage after he'd surrendered and was clearly defenseless is murder pure and simple. I'm curious what they do with the Walker's character now, as going forward the entire world will see him as a criminal.

Among the terrorists only Karli is a murderer (due to the warehouse bombing), but Battlestar's unintended death clearly shook her. Unlike the bombing, this time she watched someone die as a direct result of her actions, so that combined with Sam's counseling and witnessing her friend's gruesome death may get her to rethink her extremist path.

Only two episodes left. I think Zemo is in the wind and we won't be seeing any more from him. Other than Sam eventually reacquiring the shield I don't know how the Flag Smasher storyline will play out. As for the Power Broker, given

his Madripoor locale I'm now thinking there's a tie-in with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings - i.e. he's either the REAL Mandarin (who apparently is also going to be Shang-Chi's father) or he's part of his criminal organization. I still think Sharon is a deep cover asset for SWORD or some such agency.

Murder?
The guy wasn’t defenseless, his body is serum enhanced and itself a powerful weapon. Walkers partner was killed with a kick not an automatic weapon. But I take your point. A good lawyer could get him off due to “temporary insanity”. Though that’s not something that someone called “Captain America” and carries that shield should should have hanging around is neck.

Sure he was a super soldier, but he was injured, on his back and holding his hands up in a gesture universally recognized as one of surrender. One hit to knock him out would be justifiable, but not what Walker did. Temporary insanity or not, it's still murder.

Meh, he should’ve decapitated the guy then revealed in an epic twist that no one would’ve seen coming that he’s also the New Punisher. No one escapes American justice.

Oh, we've moved on to fantasies now. :lol In that case, I want the final scene of the show to be Bucky on a rooftop with Walker on the street below, his melon in the crosshairs of Bucky's Barrett M82A1M. Cut to black right before we hear the shot. Roll credits.

Post credit stinger: Bucky and Zemo having beers in a tavern.

Zemo: How did it go?

Bucky: Just like old times.

They should dew it. My credit card is ready.:lol

I like how when

Walker gets beaten by the Dora, they play a version of the Civil War theme. It's the same theme where Cap leaves his shield because he deemed himself unworthy of it. In this case, Walker sees his powerlessness as a sign of him being unworthy of the Captain America mantle.

Which I think loops back to one major point of the episode, and Zemo's opening talk about supremacists and power becomes a recurring theme throughout the episode. Where people who seek power will always give in to that power and corrupted by it.

Karli's intentions were corrupted by her newfound power. The Flag Smashers' belief that their ideology is superior and that they need to get their hands dirty to meet their goals lead to terrorism. Walker is in the exact same boat, he believes he needs to pursue power and believes that he has to use that power in brutal ways to stop the terrorists from winning because his ideology is superior to theirs.

This all points to how Zemo is correct.

Sam on the other hand, is the opposite. His first instinct was to talk to Karli. It wasn't to use force. He was sympathetic to both Walker's and Karli's causes, but his approach looks to be counter to theirs, which shows pretty much what Steve saw in him.

Loving this episode!

Someone should meme the goofy face he makes when he lifts the shield above his head. I feel like I?m the only one who laughed at it

Good catch! I thought that was a nice touch.

:lol :lol

Would’ve been great had he beheaded the guy and they showed his head rolling down the fountain steps lol

Nonetheless they wanted a visual representation to show that America was built on blood and they got it with that bloody shield.

Crazy that battle star verbally advised Walker that he should take the serum and if that advice was not enough he physically conveyed the same message with his death, damn.

Lol the contrast between you guys avatar is hilarious.
