Suddenly seeing Wyatt Russell in other things - 'Overlord' was on telly last night, didn't see all of it but what I did see seemed pretty good. While I don't think he massively resembles his dad you do get occasional flashes of familiarity.

I sure am eating my words with this show. Another Great episode. It's funny, the one I thought was going to suck is amazing so far and the one I thought was going to be good sucked ass.

Do you mean episode 4? I was indifferent to the first 3 but 4 is sensational. A few minor quibbles but this is the first time everything made sense and they didn?t go overboard with plot and exposition, it was just a lot of fun.

Episode 4 was really good. This show does feel like a true continuation of the story from Winter Soldier and Civil War, I can now forgive these characters being side-lined in Infinity War and Endgame.

They've even made me a believer that Sam is the right man to wield the shield (previously I wanted Bucky to have it but they've managed to change my mind, well done). Just need Sam to figure that out himself in the next couple of episodes.

Zemo is fantastic. Sam and Bucky have a real 80s buddy cop vibe going on haha.

Yeah I think now Sam showed why Steve chose him. This episode was a banger for sure. Got to watch it again.

Anyone think they might be keeping an appearance by Old Man Steve Rogers under wraps for some point in this series? I mean, he is still alive I assume.

I heard rumors about a rumor big cameo happening on episode 5 and that it would be an emotional moment. I stopped listening after that because I avoid spoilers. It's next week so I'm looking forward to that.

Good episode! Loved that Zemo "pulled an El Chapo" lol.

I also enjoyed the brief call back to the CATWS knife fight. Bucky was all You wanna play with knives around me, kid? Here, let me show you how it's done.

LOL am appreciating Bucky's dry comments as well..."You're doing great John...":lol

Zemo is a treasure.

Yeah, there I things I would prefer done another way - pretty much all the MCU movies - but overall :clap:clap:clap:clap:clap

Really appreciating the writing in this series and the call backs to films and comics - just feels like Spellman paid really careful attention to what happened in previous films and didn't get sloppy. And some of the camera angles and shots are really good :clap:clap:clap:clap:clap

Worth being up at an unholy hour to watch.:devil:rock

The Dora beat them all, and they weren't even super soldiers. Man I really feel for the new Cap now. Battlestar's death was telegraphed from a mile away I thought (I fully expected him to die while the episode was unfolding) but man did I gasp when it happened. :D

It's official, TFATWS > ZSJL! :rotfl

I didn't get that, I thought....

it would be classic "your best friend goes down a dark path you can't follow and walks away"; besides thought Battlestar was being set up
as some sort of recurring character.

Do we know he's dead? A lot I appreciate about this show; like the reasons characters make the choices they do are spelled out; and that
bloody shield was just *shocking*.

Such a contrast to Steve Roger's restraint, after HIS best friend was nearly killed.

Spellman knows his *&^% as a writer *respect* even if I'd have a different take on things.

Yea they are going to show us Steve has come from another dimension but at the end of the series he?s actually a nobody named Ben Dover. Then the after credits sets up cap marvel 2 with some stupid skrull pointing towards the sky

I think its better to kill a character that is "disposable" than to keep him and forget about it like they did in the comics with the captain america sidekicks.
Battlestar is just a bad sidekick character no one will miss him(especially when Patriot(Elijah Bradley ) appears in the possible young avengers), but i love the way the writers showed him as a better candidate to be Captain America than Walker like in the recent "U.S.Agent" comics from Christopher Priest.
Better soldier, better mind and better at diplomatic stuff like know how to talk in the language of the country you are gonna go in a mission.

I need a Hot Toys John Walker with a bloody shield

Something tells me that supportive wife of his has already called a divorce attorney lol...
