Marvel, Star Wars or Lord of the Rings, Which Line is for you?

Now--when you say young collector are you referring to my age? as I am a grizzled 30+ year old who remembers the taste of popcorn from watching ANH 30 years ago in the theatre or are you referring to the time I've spent collecting? as my collection goes back to '77--- I've only recently re-energized it(primarily through TPM and the LOTR trilogy)... as far as SS I bought my first Bond (Connery & Brosnan in tux about three years ago ???) but it wasn't until I stumbled upon this den of inequity that I was pulled deeper into the PF world--- I think I've spent over one thousand $$$$$ since joining this board in the new year and I've started customizing....

Don't worry, I wasn't calling you young necessarily, I was just trying to make the story a bit more meaningful to read. Young really refers to inexperience in the area of PF's. You said that you just recently bought your first one so young= new to the format. It was also based upon my own experience.

Other... as in Universal / Classic Monsters and Modern Horror. I'm just the opposite of most; I've been selling Marvel and Star Wars to concentrate on Monsters and LOTR.

I collect Marvel, SW and LoTR but if i had to choose it would be Marvel. Without doubt the best line of collectables.

Fritz, I stand by you! LOTR will always be my deepest joy, even if Star Wars got me into collecting and is still very dear to me. Besides, I've never seen a PF figure before, so I'm still immune to the Marvel bug. Good thing seeing as I can barely afford the guys I have, .

Truly, however, my heart will always be in Middle Earth.

I love the Marvel characters but from a collecting point of view Spider-Man and his villains are my main focus.

I also collect GG's SW mini busts and have various 1/6 figures from both SSC and Medicom but LOTR doesn't interest me at all.
