Another stinker episode what a surprise. Last week was a fluke. There wasn’t a single thing in this episode I could point out as being good.

S01E05 - "Mean, Green, and Straight Poured into These Jeans"
As I've said before - this show RULES !!!!!!
I laughed my ass off several times during this weeks episode . . . the writers and cast are absolutely perfect and are doing a great job.
Once again with the logo change - "She-Hulk - by Titania" , the "Avongers / Avingers" knock-offs, Maslany's facial expressions - uncomfortable / accepting / exasperated - OMG!
(I can't think of anyone that would be better suited to the role) - there was tons to enjoy in this one (* and that "Todd" guy STILL reminds me of Elon Musk! *)
It's not just the "4th wall" stuff that reminds me of the first time I saw the 1st Deadpool movie, it's the general irreverence and not taking itself too seriously. It's a ray of light and cheerfulness in a world that all too often is negative & spiteful.
This is a gem of a show that will always be remembered fondly, and will be respected for years to come, even if there are some folks (the usual suspects) that are determined to run it down at every available opportunity.
It's just SO well done . . . (but I still wish the episodes were longer

Have to agree. I don’t know what this show is or what the point of it is. Clearly I’m the wrong demographic. I fear what they are going to do to with you know who in the next episode.
It's more in line with sitcoms like Malcom in the middle type rather than your typical superhero romp. I tried reading some of the Byrne run to compare and while both have the lighthearted fun and breaking the 4th wall, that's about it. Byrne still had some super heroics and villain fights. Not much on the series... so far.
I still enjoy it for what it is and I'm circling back to what I stated before if Marvel had not injected too much humor in their films, I think this might have been a more welcomed change from majority of the audience.

Lol! There is. I find a good number of things funny. Probably even slightly funnier than some of the Byrne issues I read.
Right? No offense to those enjoying this, but I had to re read the glowing review here because I thought it was sarcastic!
I think I've let out a "heh" once or twice TOTAL so the thought of someone who is bursting at the seams at every line of dialogue is deeply unsettling.
I say this as someone that thought Ms. Marvel wasn't all that bad mind you.

I think I've let out a "heh" once or twice TOTAL so the thought of someone who is bursting at the seams at every line of dialogue is deeply unsettling.
I say this as someone that thought Ms. Marvel wasn't all that bad mind you.
Hey we can't agree on everything - but look on the bright side - the 2 of you thought your own posts were funny - and I do too - so we have that going for us

My wife and I are enjoying this too. Had a nice chuckle over all those.
I loved how Titania called her "Shrek" knowing how people started posting Shrek memes here and everywhere else when the trailers first came out. A lot of the jokes that make fun of critics were made months in advance, and yet have come true many months later when the show finally aired.

Are there any Marvel entries that you in equal part DID NOT enjoy? Like excluding maybe some of the less popular ones like Thor Dark World or Ant Man.

Based on interviews from Charlie, it might be a very different Matt compared to the Netflix version, at least for this series. As for the other Marvel-Disney TV shows - this is easily my fave. I was disappointed to varying degrees with all the others . . . some awful, some "meh", some OK-ish (several started out better than they ended). I've never watched that "Captain Falcon" thing even though I like Sebastian Stan (I apparently haven't missed anything
)..
For me, it's not LOL funny but entertaining enough. Definitely more entertaining than episodes 2 to 6 of Moon Knight.

Yeah you didn't miss anything with Falcon and Winter Solider. As someone that really likes both those characters I was very let down.
I think maybe Moonknight has been the best to me? Even that has some flaws.
