I can see the Logan hype is wearing off quicker than I thought. No matter how good the FoX-Men movies turn out, it's only a matter of time before the "bring the X-Men home" chants start.

All the fanboys and nerds wanna see the X-Men in the MCU so they can wear their spandex and drop them Whedon quips.

Even if X-Men went to MArvel, and they gave us the original team with kewl costumes, the movie still won't be as good as X2. MCU isn't capable of making superhero movies that good.

Didn't Singer give us this in X1? Proper team and they were fighting the Brotherhood.

I was going to say that. :lol

"B-but wolveween wasn't teh blue and yellows. Magnetos wasn't red and purplez. Tew dark. Gib it back to Marvels pls"

Liking Logan and disliking Singer X-movies are hardly irreconcilable concepts. :lol

:lol :lol :lol

I don't even care what Fox puts out anymore, I just hope they keep the X-Men and F4 film rights forever and keep dressing them in black leather so the MCU fanboys can keep crying.

Never said it was.

My point is, whenever a good X-Men movie comes out, everyone is raving about it, then a few months later, everyone wants it back at Marvel because of kewl costumes.

That crowd is getting smaller and smaller. With every mediocre MCU movie more and more people jump ship. And with every brilliant non-MCU movie more and more people realize that its a good thing that not all the Marvel characters are at Feige's disposal.

Even the people who loooooooved Civil War have a tough time apologizing for how safe and pointless it was - and that right there is the beginning of the end for the MCU. When the apologists can't reconcile legitimate problems with a movie they all tell each other is "great".

Why most one be an apologist because they enjoy something? I like MCU and CW. I'm not a big fan of Strange nor do I have a buzz for this film. Not gonna apologize that I'll go watch them. Christ I watch DCEU and they haven't put out a film I like yet. Fox stunk for years and I watched them only recently 3 of last 4 of their films have I enjoyed. Don't apologize for watching any of them nor liking what I like :dunno

People who use "apologist" don't understand that it says more about them than the people they're labeling. About as insecure as it gets.

One big thing that concerns me about Homecoming is how much of a hero Peter will actually be. In the Raimi films and the ASM films, Peter is a hero because he pulls himself out of these situations by himself. Adding Tony Stark there to supply him with all of this gadgetry may very well jeopardize that aspect of Spider-Man.

The homemade outfit look.

Parker gets all that fancy stuff stripped from him and proves himself without it.

Either that or something happens to Tony Stark.

Nah, Stark takes Peter's stuff away and doesn't want Parker to fight crime anymore with Vulture around. Peter proves himself (and to Tony by the end) on his own against Vulture on his own wits and cunning.
