The "No" I just pictured in my head was when Vader is backing Luke up into the carbon freezing chamber and says "Obi-Wan knew this to be true". I wish there was a gif of that.

Batman Forever > BvS > Suicide Squad

Batman Forever's opening and first 15 mins is way stronger and fast paced than Skwad's disjointed mess.

If Tommy Lee Jones doesn't give you lolz (especially when you consider how serious and hard nosed he is), I can't help you. They literally get into Wayne Manor by disguising themselves as trick or treaters, it doesn't get much better than that.

Watch how quickly that changes when Luke communes with Hayden Christensen's ghost before having a threesome with Finn and Poe. Same with the "Smuggler with No Name." I'm not a blind follower of Disney and I'll be surprised if I allow any SW movies going forward to enter my "personal canon."

After RO they're going to have to really work to keep pumping out land and space battles that are just as thrilling. I guess we haven't seen a truly large scale Saving Private Ryan-style land battle in SW yet so that's something they could still try.

Or maybe Braveheart with lightsabers but they'd really have to work to keep that PG-13.

I actually assumed that you guys find sick pleasure in going back and forth with SNIKT. He doesn't bother me because I don't see him crapping threads *after* a movie comes out.

That's the one thing that annoys me about the guy. Why can't he be more like me, and wait until he sees a movie to crap on it ad nauseum to the dismay and disgust of Khev, JYE, Zach, pturtle, and others?

Spider-Man 3 > Suicide Squad






































No really, I'm serious.

Hmm, I'm not really sure how I would rank those. To do it justice I would need to watch Spidey 3 again, which I have very little chance of ever doing again. I enjoyed the first half of Spidey 3, and hated the last half. With Suicide Squad, I really liked little bits and pieces, but really disliked the sum of its parts and the clear studio interference that watered everything down and screwed with what had a great deal of potential to start out. Maybe I push here.

Something I noticed. The Spider-Man threads were never civil. This was back when people were putting down the raimi films over asm and it was pretty much a war here. Hell I defended asm for its new but basic approach and told myself that the sequels would get better.

I understand now though that I just wanted the movies to succeed and for spidey to beat marvel. Back then I didn't really like the mcu cause it felt broken. Now it's just there and I tolerate it, more so cause of Spider-Man's inclusion.
