I could "discuss" these news to the ground... but I just don't want to.

"Winter Soldier" - my most beloved CBM - was directed by guys who did "You, Me and Dupree". Rogers, Tasha and Bucky were played by Kyle and Francesca of "The Perfect Score" and dat bad boy from "The Covenant".

I'll just relax and wait.

Honestly, I'd kind of prefer that look. Stark has perfect skin because he probably can afford $1,000 exfoliating cream made out of horse splooge or something, and Thor is literally a god, but Peter Parker's just a regular kid. I wouldn't mind the acne or the mole one bit, especially if he's supposed to be playing an awkward, nerdy teenager.

Now.. He can be all that without the acne and them mole :lol

If only spider's bite could mutate him into 18 y.o. Tobey Maguire... :monkey3

What I'm saying, though, is what does it matter? It's kind of funny how people are quick to criticize Hollywood for setting unrealistic beauty standards, and yet, here's this kid, and all anyone can talk about is how they hate his ****ing mole. It's pathetic.

You say that like the people criticizing hollywood for unrealistic beauty standards are the same people complaining about his mole :lol

I'm sure there are plenty of forum members here doing that though :lol

Re: Marvel Studios/Sony - SPIDER-MAN: THE NEW AVENGER

He had the mole surgically removed. Even he didn't like it. :lol

Re: Marvel Studios/Sony - SPIDER-MAN: THE NEW AVENGER

It makes sense though to an extent. You want to disappear into the character you're playing and that becomes much harder to do when you have very defining attributes everyone associates you with. A mole, a scar, deformity, tattoo, etc. When you're more or less casting an unknown in a role that a lot of kids are going to spend their days role playing, it's probably for the best to make him as generic and unassociable as possible.

Re: Marvel Studios/Sony - SPIDER-MAN: THE NEW AVENGER

Love the choice. Asa looked like he was 12, he should have been an easy pass from the get go on face alone.

Re: Marvel Studios/Sony - SPIDER-MAN: THE NEW AVENGER

I'm glad he got that mole removed, it would have been distracting.

Wasn't familiar with any choices other than Asa, so I will give him the benefit of doubt.

Re: Marvel Studios/Sony - SPIDER-MAN: THE NEW AVENGER

Woulda preferred a spider-man over a Spider-boy but hopefully he does a good job. Not hugely fussed at this point though as it's our third new Peter and far too quickly after the last imo

Re: Marvel Studios/Sony - SPIDER-MAN: THE NEW AVENGER

I'm indifferent to this whole project and casting.

After Captain America: Civil War and one of the Avengers: Infinity War movies, I don't think there will be much else Marvel Studios could do that would impress/excite me. It's running it's course.

Was better when it wasn't about studios and universes but just the characters and bringing their stories to life IMO. I couldn't care less about how he interacts with or factors into the lives of other characters, only his characters, which will take a backseat now

I love Spidey but after being invested in two Peter Parkers and wanting to see them expand and introduce more villains and supporting characters and having the reset button hit I can't be asked to delve into it again as it'll be rebooted soon enough. I'd have preferred a Spidr-Man 2099 or Noir or Ultimate as at least that's be new

I have a feeling that Infinity War 2 will be an easy "jumping off" point for the MCU so I hope they go out with a bang. As a kid I dreamed of one day getting to see awesome Captain America/Spider-Man/Wolverine/etc movies but not of one day getting to see 20 of them. 1-3 quality movies with each character is more than enough.

Imagine if we had 10 Peter Weller RoboCop movies. It just isn't necessary.

Why I'm getting less interested in Star Wars.

Before they were trilogies spaced apart by quite a few years but now we'll be getting one every year with a 24/7 cycle of news and hype
