Re: Marvel Studios/Sony - SPIDER-MAN: THE NEW AVENGER

WOW!

Speaking on The Howard Stern Show, Field didn't hold back when Stern asked if she liked the latest Spidey films.

"Not especially," Field said. "It's not my kind of movie. But my friend Laura Ziskin was the producer, and we knew it would be her last film, and she was my first producing partner, and she was a spectacular human."

Field added that she didn't put "a great deal" of effort into her portrayal of Aunt May.

"It's really hard to find a three-dimensional character in it, and you work it as much as you can, but you can't put ten pounds of s#!t in a five-pound bag," she said.

Damn, and I found her to be one of the better parts of those films :lol

It was no Flying Nun performance. But what is?
If you ever see that movie she did with Schwarzenegger it'll make you look at her in a whole new way.
He's on like two days a week now with everything else being reruns. :lol
I thought all his loyal listeners would have abandoned Stern by now. The Howard Stern I remember wouldn't be caught dead on America's got talent.

I don't listen, but I had Sirius years ago and even then he was slowly but surely dwindling down his work week.

Current Stern is everything he goofed on in the 90s.

A new web domain registered by Sony Pictures reveals a possible title for the upcoming Spider-Man movie being co-produced by Sony and Marvel Studios. After Tom Holland's Spidey debuts in Captain America: Civil War, he'll get a film of his own in July 2017. The domain: SpiderManHomecomingTheMovie.com hints that the film may be called Spider-Man: Homecoming.

At first, it might seem like a strange title, but it does have a couple of things going for it. First, it helps imply the High School setting that Marvel and Sony have very publicly stated the film will have, second, it's a nice nod to the fact that Spider-Man is "coming home" to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Perhaps most direct, however, is that it was the title of a Spider-Man storyline in the 80s that featured the Avengers.
We pointed out back in November that it sounded like Robert Downey, Jr. and Chris Evans were talking about heading back to Atlanta to shoot the Spider-Man solo flick, and a storyline that features both Iron Man and Captain America would play into that theory nicely.

Interesting Title.

oof that's an ugly title. Iron man and captain America having a cameo is sort of lame.... Spidey does everything better in smaller scale, a daredevil cameo would have been much better. Also, why acknowledge all the studio mess in the name of the title? Seems kind of childish and un-professional. Hopefully this reboot can capture some of the heart and imagination that Raimi did in the original movies.

Homecoming? Seriously? Talk abour DISNEYfied.....

I believe the first Waltons tv movie was called Homecoming. nuff said

I like the title. As mentioned above it has the double meaning of being connected to a famous high school event and his return "home" to Marvel. It was also the name of the issue that featured his return to New York after Secret Wars.

I think it's fine. It sounds the name of a 5 issue comic book story arc, which is basically what they're going for with these movies anyway. It fits in the vein of Spider-Man: Kraven's Last Hunt, or Spider-Man: Dying Wish, or whatever story arc from the comics you can think of.
