So here's a question. According to the trailer, The Eternals were not allowed to help human in battles unless the Deviants were the cause of the problem.

But what about Thanos? Thanos is from a planet named Titan, which was founded by the Eternals. Thanos is an Eternal, but unlike most Eternals, he's got a deviant gene, which is why he looks like a big purple alien, and not human. So if Thanos is part deviant, then shouldn't have the Eternals been in Endgame helping humans?

Unless, they changed Thanos' origin in the MCU and he's no longer part deviant or Eternal.

Talk about the most basic of explanations. They don't actually care about humans, just the planet apparently.

Can I have some of what you're smoking? All thanks to the Russos? What a load of BS! Sure, their contributions were significant, but they didn't write/create any of the stories/screenplays for those 4 movies. Pretty sure that was 100% Markus & McFeeley. And Feige was already laying out the Infinity Saga's connective tissue in the early MCU films while the Russos were still working on Community TV episodes.

BTW, how is it that someone with the name McFeeley has NOT been accused of inappropriate behavior in the current climate? The mind boggles...

Not 100%, at least for IW for sure. And because of James Gunn with Chris Pratt wrote all of the Guardians lines in IW (probably explaining Gamora's draggy speech that went on for way too long - don't get me started) and there were other gems like "then it will be the noblest ending in history" - this "collaborative" approach = &^^%$# IW script, a lot of the time. Definitely uneven.

IMO Marcus and McFeeley are some of the best of the MCU writers, and the Russos some of the best directors, at least for me. They used to keep things "tight" with non-boring scripts. But IMO things were slipping with IW and EG wasn't what I was expected, at all. Don't have a raging desire to rewatch either IW or EG. By IW/EG the Russos were spouting what I think of as nonsense in the press, with stuff like "well Bucky and Cap were using Skype" which is totally asinine and against any real spycraft - are you kidding. No-one could explain the time travel stuff, really. To be fair tho, the Russos have said they regret not having had more time with IW, but the studio had their schedule.

But nothing tops the drivel Spellman and his company of writers oozed out with Falcon/Winter Soldier - even Captain Marvel is better IMO - which just shows me in this politically correct environment, it can ALWAYS get worse.

I remember rumors that Thanos would appear in the film in some form, so maybe some flashback or something explains it. Honestly, I kinda hate how nerfed MCU Thanos was. I'm still hoping that he comes back from Death due to some magic/soul fuckery and we get a proper Thanos with Death, Mephisto and Adam Warlock tagging along... And now that I typed that I realised how impossible it is...

Comic lore is not movie lore. They've changed so much in the MCU. Thanos is a Titan in the MCU, not an Eternal.

Yes, I hated that too. I supposed they had to make some kind of obvious distinction between Thanos without a gauntlet and Thanos using the stones.

Still, the fact that he had no cosmic energy projection or telepathic powers was very disappointing.

Even if IW/EG is slightly below the latter two still what an absolutely unbelievable achievement.

I don’t think enough credit is given into what it took to actually pull off not just IW and EG but also the MCU as a whole which was a locomotive not stopping for any delays.

Just scheduling alone was insanity can you imagine the legal contracts with the multiple talent agencies and unions involved yikes.

Almost makes LOTR seem like an indie production lol

Meanwhile MCU Cap can absorb Ultron's blasts with his unprotected chest and temporarily resist a five stone Infinity Gauntlet with his bare hands.

It goes beyond just the pwoer levels. MCU Thanos was just boring compared to his 616 countepart. If they wanted him to "have a point" then he should've been a full-blown Nihilist who wanted to kill the entire universe because existence was too brutal or whatever. Keep his devotion to Death a part of his character. But no, all we got was "muh resources". I still can't believe how wasted the Infinity Gauntlet Saga ultimately was. No Silver Surfer, no Mephisto, no Adam, nothing. Warlock could've easily been introduced before, and Mephisto's role gone to Loki. But nope. Hell, Infintiy Gauntlet took place in a ginormous castle in space, and in Endgame the final fight took place in a literal parking lot. What a joke.

That too. I was never much into Thor, but I liked Loki for being a mischievous sorcerer mastermind. MCU Loki got stuck in early/mid-10s Tumblr and never escaped. I like Hiddleston, and but I just haven't been able to convince myself to buy a figure. It doesn't help the costumes are so bad. Why the Hell can't I get this Loki?!

Hell, they ruined my Big ***** Goth Mommygf Lady Loki as well.

I won't even mention Kang... Man, it seems all the characters I genuinely like are absolutely wrecked in the MCU. I'm starting to get scared about the upcoming films and the dollies. I was never a big Avengerfan, it's stuff from the FF/X-Verse/Cosmic-Magic I want...

He did bicep curls using a helicopter, beat Iron Man, Spiderman, beat several species of aliens, punched Thanos, lifted the the gawddamn hammer, doesn't need a parachute... WTF!!! I bet Thanos tried to turn Cap into dust with the snap and couldn't do it.

I felt like Rocket changed from the Rocket we saw in Guardians 1 and 2. Did Gunn write his lines for IW/Endgame?

Felt like Rocket was sidelined for most of Endgame too.
