I really wish that the studio's wouldn't use big name high price actors for these Marvel and DC movies. I think it makes it harder to accept the character (because you see the familiar face) and it cuts down the chances of getting a sequel. At least with the same actor.

That makes no sense to me. How can you not accept an actor as character because you are to familiar with the actor? That absurd.

Anyway, I would like to see Pitt as Thor. He is a great actor and if the writing was good would make a great Thor.

Much better than Triple H or some muscle man who looks the part but cant act.

This douche bag could be a good Thor too.

this is going to be like tom cruise and ironman , same with thor i bet you Mr.Pitt is going to put down the role and everyone is going to to pissed, watch few months or years, they find someone way better then Pitt just like ion man and everyone is going to be like holy ^^^^!! he is way better then Pitt, thank god they chose that actor.

What the hell i just say? :duh

Jeez, I am just saying I prefer when they find a relatively unknown actor who can take the role and make it their own. I have been fine with some choices. Thomas Jane and RDJ. But, Hugh Jackman came in and made Wolverine. Don't get me wrong Pitt is a good actor. Still don't see him signing on for 3 films. And I am glad it will probably be better with an unknown. Not completely biased though I could see Paul Walker as Capt America.

Reading the basic set ups of Ultimate Iron Man, Ultimate Hulk which both films seem to take a huge deal of source from I'd start thinking about who fits this look more than anything else and can act because it seems to be heading down the Ultimates path to get to the Avengers film....

I guarantee you if he doesn't sign on for IM 2, Thor and Avengers they won't sign him. Marvel has a grand scheme in mind and whoever they sign they'll make sure they will be in all. Past that though is probably up in the air.

While the first reaction to Brad Pitt is a shudder, I've come to accept that the guy can take any role he chooses and makes it his own. Not being able to picture him as non-modern, heck, you just have to look at the transformation to King Leonidas that Gerard Butler did for 300. Have the better actor, and the movie will follow suit. THAT's assuming you have a good script.

No...a "younger" (and perhaps pre-Weapon X) Sabretooth is played by Liev Schreiber (sp?).

Schrieber is sooooo Sabretooth in that pic....I love the casting for him..just wish he was bigger..but his face reminds me of Sabretooth in everyway.

The Thor script is awesome, it could be a new Lord Of The Rings if they do it right. I just hope they take the time to cast, budget and shoot it, if so it could be amazing.

Triple H has been in 1 movie and he wasn't that good.I can live with Pitt if they put him on the "juice" for the flick...at least he can act.:D

There's so much more to Thor than just a brute with long hair. I believe they really need a decent actor more than a bulky body.

With this I agree; of all the Marvel heroes, Thor is one of the most difficult to flesh out because of his very nature--he's a god, after all. He's not from this world, and to pull off something like that takes tremendous artistic talent and very astute acting. He's not a brute with a hammer; he's a complex, almost aloof character who is never really a part of Humanity, yet has devoted himself to it. In a way, he's a perpetual stranger here, which is rather profound and surprisingly intricate to play out.

Pretty intense, huh? So let's see Mr. Double-H or whatever his name is do THAT! Hmm, what's that? OH, I see, the man can't ACT. Well then FORGET IT!!!

Though I don't see Pitt in that role either.

If TripleH wasn't good, it was because the movie was horrible, you can put the best actor with the worst movie director in the worst script of all time, he's gonna be horrible to. We can't judge him with a semi-cameo in a pain in the a$$ movie, he was suppose to be a werewolf, he was suppose to be scarying because of the budget look the result.
If we got a good director, I'm sure he can do something good, let him a chance.
