Marvel for me too. The only DC person I like is Batman. Superman is just too good for my tastes. Other than that I don't even know any of the others. Part fo the reason I like Marvel more could also be that when I was little we had the Uncanny X-Men cartoons and then the Spiderman Cartoons. Of course there was Batman too, and I loved that, but the superman cartoon didn't come along until later and I never really cared for it.

Growing up in the 70's there was no decision. Marvel ruled and DC was for puzzies. DC characters were rated G- for no possible chance of seeing any real violence. Even though the books may have changed, my allegiance hasn't. Make Mine Marvel!

Marvel hands down. IMO Marvel has always had a much more human factor to its characters. I really dont like anyone from DC other than Batman, and to be honest I think Batman should have been in the Marvel Universe anyway.

DC has always been a poor mans Marvel to me, aside from the Bat, DC offers me nothing.

i agree... i've always read Marvel when i was a kid and for some reason most of the DC characters seemed like complete ripoffs of Marvels characters.

I bounce back and forth between the two but if I had to choose only one I'd have to say Marvel. There is just more at Marvel that I like than over at DC....

Lets face facts, if DC didnt have Batman and Superman, there would be NO DC. Peroid. Its a comapny built on 2 characters, 2 freakin characters!

Although they are to of the most iconic fictional characters in American pop culture, its hard to say that DC as a whole is superior to Marvel.

I give DC the edge simply because of Batman. But I do like a lot of Marvel characters too.

Yeah, but you can't say that King, because DC does have Batman and Superman, and the only character Marvel has anywhere close in popularity in pop culture is Spiderman.

DC for me too. Batman is the main reason, but there are numerous others. All the fantastic Vertigo comics, Batman, Superman, Watchmen. The brilliant writers DC have had,the complex and intriguing characters....
Its no competition for me.
I do like some Marvel though, such as Runaways and Astonishing Xmen.
