Loki was beaten by Thor alone in his first movie, and we still accepted him as the threat the whole Avengers needed to come together and stop next time he showed up.
Well there is no beating his charisma

Plus Loki is more brains over brawn. He works cause he’s a villain we kind of root for.

I can’t imagine how I would feel about Thanos if he was the main villain in the first avengers film and got beat

:lol Not rude, we all have different tastes. I love alot, if not most, of Khev's movie choices.

Just sayin'... I feel like tastes have lowered substantially post-EG... in a desperate attempt to "be excited" at the movies again. I don't see the worthiness in many of these raved about movies lately.

The only ones I truly liked were Afterlife and Maverick (I know, not MCU). Not one Marvel production have I felt was a worthy successor to the Phase 1-3 masterpiece that was "The MCU" in the 20-teens.
Afterlife?? That surprises me.

IMO AM3 is better than Thor L&T and Black Widow. Which r MCU bottom of the barrel. It’s a step above those as there were some moments that I at least liked. But I just found it so boring.

Afterlife? As in Resident Evil: Afterlife? I'm obviously missing something here. At least I hope so for Wor-Gar's sake. :lol

OK, I just google 'afterlife' movies and one of them was Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Given Wor-Gar's vintage I'm guessing that's the one he referenced. I have absolutely no recall of this movie having been in theaters lol. I do have a vague recollection of a preview with Paul Rudd in it but beyond that I know nothing about it.

I feel like Ant-Man 3 gave us the MCU version of George's discarded ST.

A "microbiotic universe," a different version of the girl who's a descendant of a previous main character and lots of zany new tech plus it doesn't kill off any of the legacy heroes but instead gives them integral parts to play in the final battle. Peyton Reed directed the Season 2 Mando finale that really elevated Luke Skywalker so I wonder if the similarities between AM3 and George's ST were intentional.

Alright but Ant Man 3 REALLY feels like a fantastic 4 movie, that was inspired by Spy Kids/ Shark Boy Lava Girl. If you grew up with those movies, you’d probably love this.

:lol Yeah, I really like Afterlife...it gets better with multiple watches surprisingly. But in truth, I really only watch the last 40 minutes or less.

Thor and BW is not a high bar.

Literal midichlorians fought in this movie lol

So if the Ant Man team can beat him, I’m still supposed to find him intimidating??
Yeah this is my criticism of this Kang too. "He Who Remains" of Loki was a far more powerful Kang IMO. Which may make sense if he's the one who beat all the other Kangs in the end.

Only watch GB:A once. Will probably never see it again. Just not a fan of soft reboots.

Yep. L&T and BW is not a high bar at all :lol

For the record I still have yet to see The Eternals so that may be the worst of them all.. or maybe the best :lol

Having said that.. even though I don’t like AM3…. It is better than those two. A big step up.

I have not seen: Thor L&T, Black Widow, The Eternals, Christmas with the Guardians, Moon Knight or AntMan Quadrophenia.
Saw Thor L&T recently at home when I was bored. I'm sad to say I don't remember much of it. Black Widow was okay, I remember kinda liking it. Hate-watched The Eternals (at home, wouldn't go to a theatre for that) and it was ... bland and pointless. Watched 10 minutes of Xmas Guardians and turned it off, never did see Moon Knight and don't plan to. Ant-Man I'll probably see ... at home ... if I'm bored ...
