I'll do the same. Hope everyone is right about all the "fun" in the finale.

You are no longer invited to the orgy!

In retrospect, killing all of the Warriors Three in Ragnarok was a huge mistake.

The actors playing those roles were relatively accomplished outside of the MCU. It could have been a perfectly good "thriller" type movie with Gor ( Bale) picking off the last of Thor's friends, one by one.

This is where I felt Vin Diesel and David Twohy got it right with the Riddick series. I personally loved The Chronicles Of Riddick, but I recognize it was not a commercial hit to the degree that was needed to make the franchise a must have/must make series for investors. So the third film was a much smaller practical film that went back to the roots of the original's success.

There was nothing wrong with Thor L&T being a film within a smaller scope. A singular adventure. Because let's be honest. After three solo films plus all the Avengers films, the character really doesn't have anywhere to go in terms of development.

Or, as I have mentioned before, a "road trip" movie with the GOTG could have been fun too.

There's this theme with sequels that they need to keep getting bigger and need to have the stakes raised higher and higher. And I get that from the perspective of actual comic writers using a different medium.

Good storytelling doesn't need to be big storytelling. Simple storytelling isn't always a bad thing.

And just stick to the best actors you have. Or barring that, the most bankable movie star you have. In this case, Paul Rudd just is not it. Honestly IMHO, anyone could have played Antman in the MCU and done probably as OK as Rudd. I don't particularly see him as bad casting nor good casting. If you want goofy with a heart of gold, cast DJ Qualls instead. Actually Ant Man would probably have been more fun with Qualls.

In the actual existing cast, I would have gone with Bobby Cannavale. Probably would need to make Ant Man a litter darker in tone, but he'd act circles around Rudd.
