****, so I like the first two episodes, LOVE 3 and 4, 5 was okay, took a dip in 6, thought 7 had a cool ending, and then just fell apart for me from then on. :( So disappointing. The writing was just all over the place and had no idea what to focus on.

Enjoying it 2 episodes in! Pacing is a little awkward at times, so it's a bit of an acquired taste, but nothing huge. Not mind blowing, but better than network tv junk.

Yeah i'm at E4 and honestly nothing crippling yet but also not as good as DD and JJ...yet...alot could happen. :lol

But so far not the disaster that I was expecting.

I'm liking him as Rand so far, he's acting very well. :dunno

Fight scenes lacking for me though. Too slow and no impact unlike Daredevil's fight scenes.

This. The guy got delt a very bad hand, as he was cast three weeks prior to filming. So all the character research, getting in shape, and whatnot, had to happen in merely 21 days. Not to mention that certain moves were shown to him 20 minutes prior to the scene being filmed. For someone who had such a small time frame for everything, plus the SJW blacklash, he's doing pretty good.

What's ironic is the Finn Jones is actually a SJW in real life, so I guess this is karma?

I've seen enough of to show to consider it the worst of the Netflix bunch but it's certainly not as bad as the reviews are making it seem.

I'm on episode six as well.....it's good enough to keep me interested much like JJ but nothing special. i have a feeling The Defenders will be a train wreck after DD these series have been mediocre or worse imo. Bringing them all together feels ....... unpleasant :panic:

I refuse to watch any movie or TV show made by and starring anyone that is a liberal, conservative, independent, libertarian, socialist, communist, fascist, christian, catholic, muslim, hindu, buddha, gay, bisexual, black, white, brown, yellow, male, female or bieber fan.

Now excuse me while I go find something to watch.

I watched the first episode and think it is some what mediocre really. The fight choreographer is awful, Jones' acting is just ok, and the pacing is really weird. The bro and sis dynamic is weird too and I think it falls flat a little. I will keep watching to see if it improves, but def is the least enjoyable show of the bunch so far.

Is IF suppose to be a better fighter than DD in the comics since he trained with monks for 15 years? The fight scenes are ok, but I feel like he should not be touched by mortal men while fighting unless it's by 10 or more dudes like DD.
So far I am five episodes in and 4 out of 5 have been decent. The reviewers can suck a **** for saying the first six episodes sucks.

Yeah, it's ok, but I can't see myself watching it a second time like I did with the first series of Daredevil. That first fight scene looked awkward. Whenever guards lean way back to hit that's too much of a telegraph.

Just finished it. Loved it! LOL at the hater reviewers coming up with something to bash the show, because they've never seen a white Kung-Fu fighter. When I think of Iron Fist/Danny Rand, I think of Finn Jones. It's a slow burn that pays off. Fits right in with the Defenders and IS BETTER than Luke Cage.

I thought he was cast months in advance before they announced him? I feel like Colter said the IF actor was cast way before he was announced.

If he was cast way before they announced him... maybe they were looking for a better actor for the role. :lol

If Iron Fist should have been played by an Asian guy, does that mean that Matt Murdoch should have been played by a blind actor and have the show use only blind directors? This political correctness crap confuses me to the point where I'm not even sure what's supposed to be offensive anymore. Especially since Doctor Strange used more or less the same idea.

There also seems to be a massive uproar against "appropriation" these days. I grew up with the view that America was a land where every culture on earth came together and contributed the parts of each individual one that were universally appealing to create one unified society. A "super-group" of cultures. I was also always led to believe that this was a good thing. Now only people who are members of a certain ethnicity are the ones allowed to embrace and celebrate it?

I thought it was great... I was definitely more emotionally invested in the characters than I was in JJ and LC. It definitely played out a bit slower than I expected, but i'm a lot more excited for The Defenders now.
