2 episodes in and I think it's fine so far. There are some pretty bad green screen moments but overall I'm liking it as much as the other shows. Just hope it doesn't go the way of Luke Cage and starts going downhill in the last few episodes.

I just binged the last few episodes of Luke Cage (I actually liked the second half, although the last ep. was so "drawn-out", that I fast forwarded it, thus turning 45 mins into 5, and yet I didn't miss anything), and I just put on the first ep. of Iron Fist. I'll get back to you in an hour...

So, uh...

-Jones is fine as Danny and the "fight scenes" thus far have been good enough. So no awful stuff like that Cage Fight promo.

-The past "friends"/siblings are cliche as hell.

-There were some really corny and forced lines. "Who sent you ?!" he asked the security guard of the company he broke into and whose boss he essentially threatened...

-The pacing's no worse than in Luke Cage.

Since this is a binge-show, I'll reserve judgement. But if this wasa pilot and I had to wait one more week, I'd be hella pissed. In general though, it's a resounding... eh.

Hrmm watching the first episode now, other than the actor looking weirdly like my (slightly rotund) cousin with all that scruff he's currently got going on, there doesn't seem to be much wrong with the show yet. I've liked the other Netflix Marvel shows and Agent Carter, but never really got to love AoS.

So far I'm reserving judgement, and glad that it seems a lot less like Arrow than the rather unfortunate trailers made it out to be.

(I've got to admit Arrow is a show that I find utterly puzzling, like the cheesefest of OUAT it's far too adult for kids, far too childish for adults and takes itself incredibly seriously for what it is.)

Ahem anyhow I realise that an awful lot of these origin stories are going to be painfully similar, but I'm glad it's not going down the cheapo Batman route!

Second episode dragged on for me, I hate when they spend so much time at a mental ward...having said that I also started watching episode one of Legion last night so that didn't help.

I am on episode 4.... not a lot of action more like a drama than hero flick. It's better than Luke Cage for me thus far but that isn't saying much.

Loving Iron Fist. Ive never read a comic of Iron Fist in my life though. See lots of criticism about this but I dont understand why. Im on episode 6 and Im enjoying the drama.

I'm 5 episodes in and I like it okay but it's nowhere near as good as the other 3 shows for me. My wife likes it but she also seems to think Coleen Wing is the coolest and wishes she could be more like her.

I'm not fond of the Meechums I must say though. They're just not very compelling.
