Finished. Really enjoyed this. I don't think it was as good as Daredevil but pretty close. I really enjoyed just about everyone's performance. Micro/Frank dynamic was excellent.

Finally got thru E10.
Easily one of the top Netflix series in my book. Totally engaged all the way thru unlike LC and IF both I couldn’t finish watching.
Doesn’t hurt that Homeland Security Cop, she be in all the episodes. She makes my eyes happy....

I’m torn between DD and Punisher for my favorite because Fisk (and Gao to a certain extent) were so excellent but Punisher landed the climatic ending better and that brutality at the end plus Defenders really tarnished DD for me even though it really shouldn’t it did lol.
But Punisher in DD2 made it so good.
See a tough one, great problem to have right.

It is funny how frank started as the crazy mute beating a wall and micro was like the smart centered calm more collected one.
But the more they work together and the more they talk, the more micro seems unstable and weak and crazy.
I wonder if micro ever turns on frank or goes against him.

That is an absolutely excellent observation analysis.
As Castle pauses his sledgehammer brutality and allows his intellect to rise to the surface Micro goes the opposite way and begins to regress into a blunt version of himself.
I see that as Castle gets closer to any person their personalities are affected by his force.

Saved the last three episodes for tonight. Flying through this series, really good action and the pacing keeps things moving. Still not sure about Bernthal though, guy just seems like he's trying way too hard to be a tough guy, if that makes sense. Also he's a bit emotional and talkative. The whole thing with Micro's wife is weird.

It fleshed out Castle’s loss of his family in contrast to Micro who still has a family but is seperated from them but more than that it allowed for some really interesting dynamics to how a man who lost everything would react in a situation like that.
It also served to humanize Castle as a real person and it gave him additional hurdles to overcome that were not just bad guys with guns.
The exploration of those dynamics provided growth to both Castle and Micro and yes while those dynamics are weird they are realistic encounters Castle would eventually have to confront

Seriously though, I agree. And as I said that whole situation with Micro's family has been one of my favourite story threads.

Yeah I get that, and can appreciate that. I suppose it's also necessary for a multiple episode series, to give something to flesh out the character more than just a killer. Can't wait for these last three episodes!

OK i’m going to ruin the ending so please don’t click on this spoiler and come back after you’re done watching it.
My ONLY 2 complaints with the ending are these and one is minor and i’m open to suggestions why I could be wrong but the other I feel strongly on.

First the major one.
In service of giving Frank Castle more pathos to his ethos Midani should’ve died.
It ended too perfectly for Castle he got everyting he set out to accomplish but The Punisher should never have it all, it should never go so perfectly for him he is an incomplete man full of loss and imperfections never a whole person perfectly tied in a knot in his favor.
Her death would’ve continued the suffering and anguish that constantly surrounds him.
She should’ve died dammit!
Now the minor complaint.
It should’ve ended with him and the skull going out into the darkness on another mission never wavering or tiring because while the injustices done onto him were settled there are others out there getting the same injustices done onto them.
Now I know that PWZ ended like that and it was corny but that whole movie is cheesy so that shouldn’t be used as an example why it wouldn’t have worked lol

Fifth Element beat her too it but the actress in Punisher looks much better in it.
Planning to watch this over the weekend, I've enjoyed most of the Netflix Marvel shows thus far, other then irondick. Hopefully this one is more like the other ones and less like irondick...
