Anyone noticed Wanda's sokovian accent returned when she "went out"? Guess it was Marvel's subtle way of saying that she just acquired an american accent during civil war since fans noticed her accent changed without explanation. So now when she gets mad, her real accent returns. That's just my theory. :wink1:

As for this episode's special guest star .....

I'm very curious to see how this works out. After Wanda mentions to the twins that you can't bring things back from the dead, does this represent her finally tearing a hole in the multiverse, and bringing Pietro to her from another reality? This would set off the chain of events in Spider-Man 3 and finally culminate in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Or, as others have alluded to, is someone else controlling Wanda through all of this and they were the one to bring this Pietro to this reality? Or ... does he just happen to be another person (perhaps Agent Woo's missing person?) that is being controlled to play the part of Pietro, and he just happens to look like Evan Peters? Regardless of what direction they go, it's all good ****!

That makes a lot of sense. I do not want it to be someone else pulling the strings. Seems like a cop out.

About the accent...

I read somewhere that Wanda losing the accent after CW was a deliberate choice (she was training under BW who in theory also lost her own natural accent). In the first few episodes, she "plays" an American character in an American sitcom so she has an American accent. But Elizabeth Olsen said that they will be going back to that Sokovian accent in this series, and it looks like this episode was one of them.

I really pity Wanda at this point... If you string her entire MCU story up to this point, it has been nothing but loss and sadness. I wouldn't be surprised if she finally snaps at the end of this all.

Did you notice how early in the episode they ask if Wanda has an alter ego superhero name and they say no and some of the people are briefly confused by this?

It's like portions of another reality where she's known as scarlet witch are bleeding over outside the hex as well.

At first I thought that as well but then I think the sword commander was using that statement as a way to paint her as a terrorist because the good guys had funny nicknames at least that’s how I read it

It could be just as simple as that but at this point you never know what level of fanboy wet dream disney is willing to go with their properties.

The scene with them arguing while the credits were rolling was brilliant

You see Snyder that’s how you do sophistication not Batman dropping the F bomb

Yes this got very interesting indeed.

So she has brought Vision back to actual life....Fox-Xmen possibly just been canonized with the MCU....the characters have apparently seen Avengers Endgame and know particular details of the final battle with Thanos :lol

I don't think he's QS though. That version of QS existed at an earlier time right? He'd be old by the time WandaVision is set in. I'm guessing he's a random guy who lives in that town too.
