The 'story is art and the consumer has no right to complain!' argument is absurd when applied to a video game that is SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED to give the consumer the right to participate and alter the story.

...and this is from someone that liked the ending.
...though I definitely wouldn't complain if they want to send me some DLC epilogue cut scenes that show the impact of the final three decisions on the world.

Though I'm now wearing the tin foil hat and believe the indoctrination explanation...

Just going to change the discussion for a sec here, but has there been any word on ME statues? I think there is a Kotobukiya Liara, but I was wondering about the other characters, like Shepard.

Edit: there's a Bishoujo Shepard lol

I'd so buy a Sideshow 1/4 premium format Shepard statue.

Not really. You can customize your character and his/her relationships, make certain choices, go about things in a somewhat non-linear path, and determine certain events & which characters live/die... but the overall story and prime plot has always been in BioWare's control... from the opening moments of the first game to the end of the third.

And didn't Sideshow announce they have a Mass Effect license like 2 years ago? WTF ever happened with that?? Good to see they were on top of it and had something ready for when ME3 was released.

I'm fine with most of the endings. I just don't like certain parts of the endings. I hope the new endings doesn't change too much. Maybe just keep certain parts to certain endings instead of it happening between all three. Or if they want to keep those, at least explain so it makes more sense. For example, why Joker why?!
Right now I am liking the worst ending only because that explains why Joker would do that.

Waiting for reveal of Kotobukiya ArtFX Shepard. Having their MW2 Soap and Hellboy, I have high hopes for that.

The Bishoujo figure isn't bad as well. Not great, but not bad.

This whole sad situation is basically Stephen King's MISERY. BioWare is Paul Sheldon and the whiney fans demanding a new ending are Annie Wilkes.

Good luck with the hobbling.

If nothing else, I just want them to own up to how awful the ending is, which I'm certain is something they'll never do, ever. I've reached a point where I don't want them to change it anymore. I mean, I wouldn't mind an addendum that gives some closure to the story and squad mates, fill in the MASSIVE PLOTHOLES and LOGICAL FALLACIES, but if they want to keep the Star Child/Space Magic ending(s), fine.

I thought this was more like The Secret Window. With BioWare being Mort Rainey and the whiney fans being John Shooter. Both demanding that the ending belongs to them... :rotfl

Oh?? Please share. I'm interested.
The plan is to make ME3 Shepard, Miranda, Liara, Garrus and possibly Ashley but we aren't sure about her. Dr Feel Good is going to help on the Turian body for Garrus and possibly for Krogans and Salarians if we decide to go that far.

But this project is in the very early stages of development(gathering all source/reference material and bodies) as I have 3 other projects happening right now plus I may need to get a new laptop which will set this ME project back some. BUT I'm partnering up with some friends of mine to see about them doing the armor and possibly the weapons. But if they can't tackle the weapons then I'll be doing the weapons along with the Headsculpts.

If anyone wants to help in terms of reference material, I really need some good, big shots of the omni blade and the omni tool so we can try to figure out how and if we can make those. We also need good hi-res if possible shots of Garuss' and Ashley's ME3 armor
your making head sculpts?

Yep, i'll be takling the headsculpts and possibly the weapons while others will be handling the armor. I've been practicing more and with these I want to try to input subtle skin texture. If this project does go all the way, I'm sure this will be my best work to date in terms of sculpting.

Operation: FORTRESS

With Reaper forces beaten back, relief efforts are under way in the newly-taken territory.

During this period, Reaper enemies will be severely depleted and there will be far fewer brutes than usual.

All players will get +25% experience over the weekend as Citadel Allied Command reviews the lessons of Operation Goliath and uses them to train new forces.

Looking ahead: Admiral Hackett has put out the call for advanced combatants among the N7 squads. These troops are being marshaled for an upcoming elite operation. Experience under fire leads to promotions….

Welcome to the next N7 multiplayer weekend!

Last weekend the community joined together to push back the reapers in Operation Goliath. With over 3 million brutes killed, their numbers have been decimated. Expect to encounter far fewer this weekend.

As a reward for that outstanding performance, join your friends online between 5 PM PST Friday, March 23 and 5 AM PST Monday, March 26, to reap the rewards of last weekend’s successful offensive with a 25% XP bonus.

- All enemies.
- All maps.
- All challenge levels.
- All platforms (PS3 included).
- All weekend.

To participate, you will need to play Mass Effect 3 multiplayer during the listed time period. That’s it. The bonus applies to all XP earned. Gather your squad and take advantage! You’ll want to be leveled up for next weekend’s event…
