I just hope he comes with the bowtie and apron too. :monkey4 :lol

I just PreOrdered him. Haven't bought a TF since I was a kid... so this should be interesting. The Dinobots were some of my favorites!!!

I would be VERY suprised if the Constructicons sets happen as six new molds plus the extra bits for Devastator would likely cost too much to produce though if it happened I'd definitely get it.

I think Soundwave is more likely as there's an easy repaint option (Soundblaster) and if they made the tapes they could reuse at least 2 molds (Rumble/Frenzy & Laserbeak/Buzzsaw)

Other characters I'd like to see get the MP treatment are,

Shockwave
Rest of the Dinobots
Bumblebee

what could've been:crying Bumblebee & Jazz were the only ones I cared about and they're the only two confirmed that they'll never come out:(

What's wrong with Meister? :( IMO he's perfect when you flip the legs around so that his doors are serving as the feet.

You're right with Bumblebee though, that was just complete bull^^^^ from VW.:banghead Oh well, at least we got a pretty kickass Bumblebee with the Classics version...:monkey2

Mesiter's cool, especially with Repro G1 Jazz stickers, but to know they got as far as actually having a Porsche Jazz prototype and not being able to produce it is just a bit of a letdown.

It kind of goes without saying that I'd be all over a MP Devastator like a cheap suit. I'll believe it when I see it, though... if it does happen, I wonder how big each of the individual construction vehicles will be? I'd be quite happy if they were about Ultra-sized (as large as Classics Onslaught)....

I actually wouldn't be surprised if a MP Devastator wasn't much larger than the rest of the MP series. I don't think they're too concerned about things being in scale, given that Starscream is so much smaller than Megatron and Optimus. They might make him a bit bigger than the rest, but I don't see him being 3 feet tall. It wouldn't be practical.

hmm if they release him as stated, meaning 3 seperate two packs priced at $100, then he would cost like $300... And at that price, I am pretty sure they can make the mofo a good amount bigger then the rest of the mps. I'd say he would be around 18 inches, which would be fine with me.

Ultra Onslaught is already about the same size as if not bigger than Starscream, which cost 9800 yen (around $100). I could see each component being around half the size of Starscream, which might make the completed Devastator between 1.5 and 2 times as big as the others.

Since we're talking about scale, MP Starscream is the same size as the City Commander Ultra Magnus which means.....

Yeah but the scale was all over the place in the cartoon, look at Astrotrain in the movie, one minute he was regular sized then all of a sudden he was big enough to transport all the Decepticons and Devastator could stand up without bashing his head on the ceiling.

I think if a Masterpiece Devastator were to be any good they should use the same basic scale as Binaltech/Alternators for each of the Constructicons.
This would make each set of 3 cost more but I reckon people would still snap them up, look how much some custom combiners go for on ebay and they aren't even Masterpiece scale.

NO!

At least that is my opinion! :D

I have this on preorder and have all the MP's too.

I am such sucker for transforming robots! :D

It's a bit of a letdown that Grimlock is only gonna be the same size as the Masterpiece Seekers but it's not going to cause me to cancel my pre-order as I'll display it with my Classics/Universe toys instead of getting that godawful Deluxe version.

Appearantly the text blurb there says that he's the same size as Starscream. :(
That's disappointing. Can you read Japanese?

The poster who broke the MP Grimlock news on the SGCollect forum posted this a couple weeks back, so I'm still holding out hope that it's going to be larger than that.

Once more from my "dubious source" in Japan:

MP-8 Grimlock:
About/easily 12 inches in height in both modes (Confirmed)
G1 Styled (Confirmed)
Wider than MP-1 (Confirmed)
Features movable eyes and head using a suspension system (Not confirmed, as translated by Japanese friend)
