Yeah there's no reason other than saving money, but still don't really have an issue with it if it doesn't cause any problems.

Beastman is great. I kind of want to get all the figures from the Evil Warriors that mirror the Evil Horde. Not so much mirror in their rolls necessarily but their appearance and the type of character design they are.

Hordak - Skeletor (obviously)
Catra - Evil-Lyn
Grizzlor - Beastman
Leech - Merman


… then it starts to fall apart a bit. No idea on the rest. Skeletor doesn't really have a parallel to the Horde Troopers or Drastor.

I guess the Horde's recruiting program is better than skelly's. And Skelly doesn't have a fun lackey like Mantenna to push around like Hordak does.

damnit, Dragstor. I'm sure you knew what I meant. Just from a figure stand point you also would need to cover:

- Mosquitor
- Mantenna
- Modulok
- Multibot (not really though who cares about multibot?)

Not to mention the cartoon only characters. You'd probably need to throw in Rattlor and Tung Lashor as well since they seemed to mainly work for the Horde. Then again Tung Lashor seemed to work for both Skeletor and Hordak so he bats for both teams.

I just realized something. A hell of a lot of Horde guys have names that start with "M".

Well what's done is done, she's got a crappy bendy hand either due to cost cutting, a balls up or safety measures. Let's just remember one thing though, this is Mattel we're talking about here and they're not above making the odd blunder(s).
The obvious and frankly unforgivable problem is that Mattel doesn't get in finished samples to look over before release, ToyGuru has admitted to this in the past and as a result they aren't picking up problems before the factories are given the go ahead to start production. It's sadly down to poor management.

kinda funny that you put words in my mouth...I never said anything about my rights being trashed,or being 100% right (your just looking for an excuse to start trouble).I just think the wool is being pulled over your eyes and you refuse to see it...who cares if I am right or wrong? The rubbery hand is a FAIL in my book! and its all about making Schedule and money for Mattel..so they will tell you what you want to hear (try working with greedy corporations sometime who will spoon feed you whatever they see fit for profit).

Super-old news, I know, but I finally got around to taking pics of the first-issue Beast Man that arrived a couple months back.

Love this guy (the colors are just awesome), but Mer-Man continues to be my favorite so far. I really need to buy more MOTUC, so hopefully when all the busy stuff starts winding down, I'll get plenty more.

yeah, that beastman is an awesome figure no matter when you got it. it was a treat to get a great detailed figure like that right away in this line. he's no Tri-Klops but a good figure nonetheless.
