I expect a biased review when you get yours...everything is AMAZING to you! Your friends at the Org are the ones who talking about the tear...which adds to the cheapness of the figure, especially if Many of these figures are coming slightly torn.....The worse part is the Sword (I saw new pics at AFI and the sword is warped bad) but its ok,the figure is AMAZING anyways
Okay kids. I'm out. I can't deal with this anymore.
I checked all the pics from reviewers and couldn't find anything...
there's things that are worth debating and demanding...
a toy certainly isn't... if a flexible hand and a "small tear" get you so worked up, maybe collecting toys isn't for you?...
And I only read 2 people commenting on this over @ the Org...
seriously... you suck the fun out of this thread!!!
Anyway... I've been delaying this moment for far too long...
Just show us more pics when you get a chance please!!
Okay I had to post this because it's absolutely ridiculous. After reading here the vitriol and laments about Mattel's lapses in quality control in regard to the "tear" in the skirt of Catra I went over to He-Man.org. This is something I normally wouldn't do but I had to know what everyone was talking about and in all the pictures I could find I could not see this "tear" everyone is talking about.
SERIOUSLY?
That mark is so small that I would have never noticed it if not for close up large photos and someone pointing it out to me. It also doesn't seem to be damage as it seems to appear in all the figures in the same place. In fact some people at He-Man.org say it was even on the proto-type shown at cons. So it's just a very very minor molding artifact. I've seen much worse on both high-end 1/6 scale figures and even 1/4 scale statue and this is a "very" mass produced toy. Albeit less so than what Mattel normally puts out, but still way more than what say… a run of statues from Sideshow and more importantly made the same way as those highly mass produced toys like Barbie and GI Joe.
If there is a legitiment "tear" on the skirt..over time, posing the figure could create a bigger tear...
