I debated on doing a custom with the jakks Pacific version, it would have been closer to the MOTUC scale, but I'm lazy and haven't done it yet.

7/11 SDCC Voucher Pre-Sale & 8/1 Post-SDCC Sale

Toy Fans,

Awhile back we told you that thanks to great fan feedback in 2010, we’d once again be holding a voucher pre-sale for products to be picked up at SDCC. Those same products (with a couple of variations) will also be available for sale here on Matty Collector.com on August 1st, just like last year. SDCC is barely a month away and all our ducks are lining up nicely, so here are the details (if you participated in these sales in 2010, they’re set up the exact same way so you already know the drill).

7/11 SDCC VOUCHER PRE-SALE

Be here at MattyCollector.com on Monday 7/11 at 9 a.m. PT (noon ET).
Choose the items you want and add them to your cart. There’s a purchase limit of 6 per person on all products.
Your credit card will be charged and a confirmation email (voucher) will be sent.
Bring your voucher, the credit card you used for the transaction, your identification, and your Comic-Con badge to a pre-determined location at or near SDCC (to be announced).
Pick up your product between open of show Thursday 7/21 and close of show Saturday 7/23. We’ll email you the location and pick-up times prior to the convention.
If you’re only attending Comic-Con on Sunday 7/24, this option is not available to you.
If you don’t pick up your product by the end of the show on Saturday, your product will go into the products available for sale at the show on Sunday. You may be able to purchase it then, but there are no guarantees.
All sales are final. There are NO REFUNDS so be sure you can personally pick up your purchase(s) at SDCC!
Products cannot be shipped. This option is for pick up at SDCC only, and only available to SDCC attendees (badges will be required).
Like last year, there’s a limited amount of each product available for pre-sale. It’s first-come, first-served and there are no promises you’ll be able to purchase a voucher for every product. But once you’ve got your voucher, you’re guaranteed to get your product – including Swamp Thing with Un-Men!

So... Finally got home from Afghanistan! BIG pile of packages waiting for me, including several MOTUC boxes, obviously.

Going through them now. So far, MOSTLY good. The only ones I've opened thus far are Panthor and BA Skeletor - much to my dismay, Skelly is missing one of his damaged bits!

Think this is going to be a _____ to replace at this point with Matty? They've been good with sending replacements, but this one has been gone for a while I think...

I wouldn't think it would be too hard to get a replacement. They hold back enough for QC issues and most of the time those extras still end up making it into the re-issue batch. I think you'll be fine.

My first Mad Matty Monday sale is set for Monday at 9 a.m.! I know you’ve had some questions, so I put together this Q&A…

Q: Will the mystery pack items be selected at random for each consumer?
A: No, there are set packs… but there may be more than one pack per theme. So you could get 3 items and your friend could get 3 different items even though you both ordered the same theme. Or if you order 2 packs, you could get 2 different packs, or you could get 2 of the same packs...that's all part of the mystery!

Q: Will the items be items previously available on MattyCollector.com?
A: Yes, all items will have been previously sold on MattyCollector.com.

Q: Will the packs contain any new items?
A: The packs won't have any new items. They’ll all be items that were previously sold on MattyCollector.com.

Q: Do the packs have repeated items within each pack?
A: Nope, each pack will have 3 different items.

Q: Will JLU be included?
A: We’re not revealing the contents of any of the packs, but if JLU is included in any packs it would be in a DCU themed-pack.

Q: Will items be in their packages?
A: Yes, all items will be in the original packaging.

Q: Do the packs contain items that have been returned by other costumers?
A: Nope. It’s all brand-new merchandise.

Q: Can the mystery packs ship to Canada?
A: I’m really sorry, but because of the additional documentation that would be required (and associated astronomical costs), we can’t ship outside the lower 48 states in the U.S., so no U.S. territories or international shipments, including Canada.

Q: Are you excited about Mad Matty Monday?
A: Are you kidding? I’m crazy about it and hope you are, too!
