That's awesome. I'm a big fan of the stactions. I'd buy them all if some of them weren't so expensive.

I'm really looking forward to the November sale. I have to buy two Battleground Evil-Lyn figures, at least one Bubble Power She-Ra, and Swiftwind. I've been looking forward to Battleground Evil-Lyn ever since she was first previewed.

Another month wait for Evil-Lyn isn't so bad. Getting Wind Raider, Evil Lyn, Demo Man at the same time is going to be awesome.

Sorry to get off-topic, but I wanted to share my two cents, as I don't believe any kind of prejudice belongs on these forums:

What is being Homophobic? being opposed to it?? Not everyone agrees with it ya know..I could care less what people do,but I don't have to be silent just to follow the political correctness of the world.

So being racist or an anti-semite is okay, right, as long as you "don't agree"?

Call it being "politically correct" if you want, but it's the same thing.

People can think what they want, but that doesn't mean it's appropriate - mods should be doing more to stop this sort of thing, imo. Sorry, again, for continuing the off-topic stuff - but I think it's important to stress that prejudiced behaviour should be treated more seriously.

On topic: MOTUC is awesome. I'm even sort of looking forward to the Star Sisters!

Did you ask for them though? Are these figures you really wanted or is it just case of "yeah, I'll take them too as they are going".

The Star Sisters are terrible, IMO. And for the few 'vocal' people that were asking them, they seem to be not too happy about the fact they're based off some poster rather than the old toy prototypes.

I think it was unwise to test the $60 3-pack with these characters. I can see it now "you guys didn't buy the star sisters so that must mean you don't want multi-packs, period."

You want a good answer as to why subs sold 'significantly less' this year...a $60 three pack in january of largely obscure characters that most folks don't seem to want or have any interest in (at best), and that the few who are interested in them aren't happy with, well, that might be a pretty good place to start looking.

I don't think that is the only reason but it's definitely one good reason I think.

I am just very curious as to where are the people who demanded this figure are.

In light of Toy Guru's recent '200' comment, it stands to reason that it wasn't the 'load minority' but I am left wondering, if not them, then who?

What are other MOTU forums or theads saying? Places like the Fwoosh!

The Star Sisters may have affected sales but I don't want to jump to conclusions.

i've never heard of the Star Sisters before until they showed the figures. and they are very 'meh' figures. as much as i'm not a fan of POP, i bet i could find 3 much more interesting POP characters that could have been done in their place.


i also got my Power and Honor book the other day. i'm speechless. words can't describe it. it toatally makes up for that SDCC art book debacle from a few years ago.
