I think there is a problem when the obsession goes far as believing that the characters actually exist and getting upset over a bio or storyline of character as if it were a real story.

i just hate the petition threads where they ask for the most obscure filmation characters they can find. like peasant villager number 2 from that one episode. it bothers me cuz i know there is a 60% chance that Toyguru will make it happen for them.

Yup, not one person here ever says or suggests anything ever remotely rediculous or lame over on Sideshowfreaks.
Folks here are never mean spirited here either and there's never any bad trolling.

I'd take some of the lameness of some of the He-man.org stuff over the mean spirited nature that I see here way too often any day of the week.

Unlikely given Toyguru thinks there's only 200 hardcore fans over there.

That to me is definitely one of the most ridiculous things on that site. God forbid someone has a different opinion than the TC. I call them 'circle jerk' threads. Just one of the many reasons I hardly post there anymore.

I'm getting a little tired of all the 'want' threads myself. I think I've seen most episodes of the original cartoon, but couldn't name most characters. Then I see threads where 60 separate characters are listed. Uh, we only get 12 figures a year and they want 5 years worth of obscure characters alone. The Illumina support threads are the worst. She's not appeared in any media ever and people over there feel personally hurt when Toyguru says the support isn't there.

And that 'who would you date thread' confirms a suspicion I've had about the org for a few years now.

that suspicion was always there for me,but we all must be politically correct now and let them have at it!

I can't tell you how many "non-collectors" I spoke to see He-Man as a big Flamo or a 'main' attraction for a certain community

Ya know,there are "non-collectors' looking in from the outside and they think were NERDS.Grown men in their 20's/30's/40's collecting toys.

I find that the Org is very Obessesed with the brand of He-Man,along with the fact of how they insult and constantly make threats personally to the brand manager(toyguru) because he doesn't make a toy the way they want it.THATS TRUELY PATHETIC!

I have my complaints about Matty,but at the end of the day,I don't really care and my life goes on...

What is being Homophobic? being opposed to it?? Not everyone agrees with it ya know..I could care less what people do,but I don't have to be silent just to follow the political correctness of the world.

I can't join the Org because I don't have the proper Email (Lame) and would likely get banned anyway because my opinion is too harsh.

My biggest problem with the org are people who get upset at the slightest criticism and want to suppress it. All told, that's not so bad.

Religious fanaticals like Teemu are far worse than anything I've EVER seen on the org.

For the most part, do you guys open these? Or keep them in packaging. I usually keep most action figures in packagaing, but these are proving difficult to do that with. They look so damn cool.
