I think a little bit of both, the way the line was handled, the Matty ploys with making money versus giving us what we really want.

It's annoying with all the fluff characters, all I wanted was my original He-Men. It started off well but all I can say right now is that I'm not feeling the love for the line and it pretty much just went south/sour.

Maybe the fact that you had all your figures boxed didn't help you enjoy the line as much?...

Nah, furthest from the truth, LOVED them as they were.

Can't believe people are viewing this line as a failure lately. Shame on you Skiman for abandoning it. You should have opened them up and posed them. That is half the fun for me. All i have to do is look over at my shelves to see how far we've come if i'm feeling like the line is taking a wrong turn. The figures look awesome all posed together. Even the duds look good on the shelf. And that Wind Raider is gonna be the pièce de résistance when it arrives.

I still like them, too. This is the MOTU line I'd always hoped for. I had the originals when I was just a little kid and collected the ones from the 2002 cartoon when I was in high school. I enjoyed them and was bummed when they got cancelled, so MOTU has always been important to me. I always hoped they'd bring back MOTU and when they finally did with MOTUC, I couldn't be happier. They're really the best true toy line in my opinion. I have my complaints about Matty and how certain things have been handled with this line, but I'm just happy this series exists.

I can't wait to get the Winder Raider and Battleground Evil-Lyn and I'm super stoked to finally get Stinkor next year. He's my favorite.

and lastly, there is a difference in being a speculator, and a scalper ( which IS the "villain" in this hobby) and being pleased that you can resell if you need.

AFI has Demo-Man up for review. He looks pretty darn sweet! I don't mind the fluorescent green paint. Might have to use that Alcala Skeletor head on my BA Skeletor....
