I wasn't saying these aren't great figures. My only point that was $28 a pop for 6 inch plastic figures isn't cheap. I still have one Skeletor loose and one MOC. I'll probably pick up a few others down the road. I'm sure I can get some in less than mint packaging off the 'bay when the hype dies down and the production runs are higher.

EDIT: Oh and in case anyone didn't know Mattel said in the last Q & A that Hordak will be "Ruthless Leader of the Evil Horde" on the package. The redundant "Evil Leader..." was a typo.

meanwhile....back on the ranch:

Good gravy. Man, you really gotta give up that ghost and realize the price of things goes up or has gone up. You might actually enjoy collecting more again if you did. I really think you expect everything to be as cheap as possible which does not happen often at all
no kidding.. this is a great price compared to the hot toys collectibles i buy..

Nope, MN.

Digital River is right down the street from where I work. I was temped on Wednesday to go over and crack some heads. :)

Ouch! Even being in the same state as Digital River costs you. I feel like cracking there heads too, they screwed up my Faker order and I'm still waiting for them to process it over a month later.:banghead

Right, I'm perplexed with the talk of the price of these figures in this thread on a SS Forum. The price of SS, HT, and Medicom figures is stellar compared to these figures and SS and HT in particular use the same base bodies for almost all characters too. Though they are 12" figs, the price point is significantly more than these in comparison. Folks should be consistently complaining about spending $100-150 a pop on those figs. Concerning shipping, I usually end up spending $30-40 just on one standard size PF on just shipping alone, so for me these are definitely a bargain.

Call me crazy, but I'd pay $30-$40 for these if that's what they were going for. Hell, some people are paying double or triple that on eBay. This is the best 6" action figure line today, no question.

Shhh....don't say that too loud or matty will up the prices. but i would pay more for these as well. i've been waiting for a decent MOTU line for a while. this looks like it could be the one that puts out almost every character in the franchise before it stops.

and yeah i will throw a tantrum like a baby the minute i miss out on one of these figures.

The only one I didn't get was King Greyskull, but I don't mind 'cause he never existed as a figure when I was a kid.

I agree these are worth more, but some of that is my connection to He-Man. My grandmother was a major impact on me as a child and bought me so many of my toys as a kid from He-Man. So 4 me these figures are priceless.

I got King Greyskull last year and had to as it ties into He-Man and the history behind it.

I am sure over time, matty will up the pieces to $25 each as inflation begins again...give it time..its likely to happen with people paying $30-70 for pieces on ebay.Expect to pay 35-40 for battlecat

Hey Ill check out the 2002 MOTU episode with him in it, it will make you want one. He was pretty badass, I hope Mattel makes the his battle cat too.
