Happy dance! My Mer-Man just arrived. Cannot wait to crack it outta it's coffin.
I use it as well. Takes just a few days longer than everyone else to get it for me usually.
Well, I usually use USPS trackable, as the warehouse is like 20 miles from where I live it's only like 35 cents more and I get the items really quick...
sometimes next day... oh well, seems like it's already been shipped, maybe they'll get here tonight!

Good point! Although, I'd say I will probably buy everything anyway, I'm a completest.

The 8-Back head really is the greatest thing about Mer-Man. I may not even open the second one to leave on the vintage head. Loving this one enough.

He is pretty darn cool. His right hand was really loose, so much so that he couldn't hold his weapons very well, but a little hot water fixed that. My coloring on the trident is nice and dark, which is what I wanted so I'm happy.
I'm displaying him with his trident and the 8-back head. I'm not a fan of the original head or "Maizer, the sword made of corn."
The only thing I don't like is that he looks kinda like a fish, what is up with that???? There is no such thing as fish people, so please.

i can't believe the paint job on this one. lots of redish/orange blended in with the yellow. i especially like the shin guards. they are dark at the top and get lighter as they approach the ankle.
do we really want the subscription?
think about what could happen to the people that WAIT to ship all 6 figures out only to find out that...
A. their figures accidentally didnt get held and they are gone. This I can see happening since where will they hold the subscription figures until they fulfill the order? and in what conidtion will they be? see b.
B. their figures come with 2 left legs, broken, mashed up card etc and can't be replaced because they ran out of replacements. this is one reason I would want them delivered monthly.
I hope they give the option to ship every month and bill once a month for the amount of figures bought....I still say just do the 'Pre-Order' Method so we can pick and choose who we want and not just take a 12 figure subscription at Mattel's discretion in character choice...I am not certain I want every figure in the line to begin with

is that how the subscription service is gonna work?? i want my figures delivered monthly. they should show you the figure a few months in advance and you just put a check next to it in your account if you want the figure. how hard is that?? i only want the subscription cuz it's getting harder and harder for me to order these if they sell out in an hour. i work rotating shifts and when i'm on the day shift, i get screwed over on these and on sideshow PPO's. i'm just a simple man who wants his toys. is that too much to ask??
