Mattel isn't making one unless they get enough pre-orders so it's not a sure thing. Zombihamma's Grayskull is not the same one that Bishart was preselling on here and hasn't produced yet. Zombihamma's Grayskull is $150 unpainted. Eamon has one that he painted in his collection. Check out the picture he posted below.

In fact,I would bet on it! This set is Iconic and will be bought up by collector's and Scalpor's alike.I heard of a few buyer's that will buy more than two or more just to resell at a later date.

Limited run will = Higher secondary market prices and I agree,because as the market dries up,the set will go up in market value....

there are always procastinator's that will end up paying more for it later because they were not smart enough to order early

Well, a LOT of casual MOTU collector's and even high-end collector's will get this one for sure...
Considering the price being around $200.00 I foresee a lot of people who don't even collect MOTUC getting it. Just for pure nostalgia and the badassery of having a large former Grayskull amongst their collection.

I really hope they do a great job with the B-Sheet since that's going to be the only visual aide for this...
I wish it were more of a hybrid between VintageTaylor/Alcalá/Obrero/Filmation...

I snagged a Spikor off ebay tonight, he looks like he has straight eyes so fingers crossed. I also bought a Reissue King Grayskull. I sold mine awhile ago and pretty paid the same for this one so not bad. I look forward to hearing more about Castle Grayskull and completing my original MOTU & Evil Warriors.

I can't say I like how the fangs came out on that, they blend together too much. That said, I think it's a great design and cool figure, I'll just touch mine up some.

And yeah, about the custom heads, FB is the only way to go. Check out his MOTU group page and try posting there too.

The fangs looked better on the proto.

Of course, we all know as an excuse, prototypes often look better than the final product we all get in hands.

But in this case, the prototype for Castle Grayskullman was far superior to the final production result.

His paint apps seemed to have suffered a lot more than usual as well. Still, I like the figure. I like the idea of him being a manifestation of the spirit of the castle itself. Though.. how would He-Man have the power of Grayskull if Grayskull was using the power itself? lol.

I'm definitely adding another layer of lighter green drybrushing and touching up the teeth. Fun times ahead!
