I just got my renewal notice from Matty...
I wonder if my sub will ship early this time around?...
:lol

its supposed to

"Subscription orders should begin shipping approximately Wednesday, October 10th, three business days before the October 15th on-sale date"

the wording has changed,so I am wondering if they are actually going to get subs out before sales date

I'll be shocked if I get a shipping notice prior to the 15th and the tracking actually shows some movement before then, as opposed to the "electronic shipping info received" status.

Love the skeleton warriors!!
Hint to the army builder instead of Horde Troopers? ;)

Please no! I would love skeleton warriors, but there's no reason for them to bump Horde Troopers from 2013.

gotta feeling that this is what we will be seeing (possibly this weekend)

Kuzeh got me looking into this and he may be right!

Skeleton Warrior's are mentioned in Clawful's Bio

(they are a fan demanded Army Builder)

I also suspect we will be getting a Filmation Sub or more likely Filmation two-packs as the added Sku's for '13 (revealed at toyfair '13) and to go with the perk of Sub holders being able to buy early on these.

quote-"to get more fan demanded characters to us sooner"

Don't know if this has been posted anywhere in here, but it had me rolling.. :rotfl

I think the Skeleton Warriors in '13 would be a bad move and I don't see it happening unless they moved the Horde Troopers to a single figure slot. That would be fine as long as they increase production substantially.

I actually would welcome them

though, remember that Toyguru's idea of a fan demanded army builders may be very different than what the fans are thinking of...

Horde Troopers came single carded and maybe they will show in '14 as singles instead (like Vintage)

Every two-pack we gotten so far has been generic type Army builders and Skeleton Warriors would fit in that catagory

Yep...
and not only that, the characters in the game look a LOT like the Mini-Masters...

^^^^^^^ I don't understand why Mattel has not been able to sell these yet or find a retailer that would (DUH! try BBTS).They are too cool and would go nicely with the Icon Heroes Castle Grayskull

plus more characters like TrapJaw,Fisto,Spikor,Ram Man etc would have me drooling over those

At PC Scott said that they were having issues with the price point. He said that their cost was close to that of MOTUC figures.

I still think they could remove the articulation and most people would still be happy with them if cost is the problem.

Toyguru was asked about the MOTU Video game

"I love it! And it was a blast to work on. Lots of cool Easter Eggs for fans."

yeah,Skeleton Warriors are the hints :)

Castle Grayskull will be $250

that Castle Grayskull will remain at the $200 mark. Once shipping is figured in, it will be expensive and quite the investment for people/fans/customers, especially international fans. I hope this has been taken into account.

"It looks like to avoid cost reducing it we are going to set the price at 250.00. That does not include shipping."

Can you clarify what you mean regarding the skeleton warriors being the hint? Where did Scott specify that? When he said fan demanded army builder, I think most thought Horde troopers. Also I don't mind CG being $250 as long as you get what we pay for. No reverse parts! :0)

Skeleton Warriors are all over in the game...

looking at the history of the 2 packs we've gotten, they all have been generic characters

Eternian Guards
Snake men Warriors

Horde troopers could still be a possibility, but I am now leaning towards Skeleton Warriors (also mentioned in the Bio's) and maybe they'll save the Horde trooper as a single release

I think you're reaching a bit there teemu. I don't see how the appearance of the Skeleton Warriors in the game is a precursor for Classics figures in 2013. They showed the Filmation robots in those screen shots as well.
